Term 20 DADA Exam
The room was already silent from the time the rest of the students had filed into the classroom, to the time he finished passing out the written tests and he intended for it to last until the last student handed in their exam and left. Professor Cox would not accept any tomfoolery on that day. There were always a handful of students who thought it was wise to try and cheat their way to a perfect grade and he was on the lookout for them. Any student caught would not only fail their test, but would receive detention from him. He was a strict sort of teacher.
"You may begin," He told the class in his baritone voice before he took a seat at his desk, facing all the rows of students with bowed heads over their exam papers. He wasn't going to idle his time with work. He intended to keep a watchful eye on all until the exam was through.

Ooc: This is a chance to win some house points. In this thread, you will roleplay how your character takes an exam. Do they cheat, or are they honest (maybe include who they cheated off of)? Did your student study? Are they guessing on every question? After you are finished with your post, a Minister will tell you you your grade (Oustanding, Satisfactory, Unsatisfactory) and whether or not they got caught cheating. The grades influence how many points your house gets. No points will be awarded for an Unsatisfactory. A Satisfactory will receive five points, and an Outstanding will receive ten points.
The posts must be at least 100 words long (like all posts on this site) and they must clearly say if your student cheated and whether or not they studied. Just because they cheat, doesn't mean they'll get caught. And your student could fail if they studied, or pass if they didn't study. Have fun!

First year
Studied
Didn't Cheat
Andrea smiled confidently from her seat in the DADA exam. She had studied for this and believed she could do well. It held her interest for much longer than most things. And that was saying something. She didn't get bored quickly. Another miracle. The only issue she had was how terrifying the professor could be sometimes. It was like he was accusing her of something she didn't do but she wasn't at all certain how she could defend herself. Well maybe he'll be happy with her exam today. She would even try extra hard not to blot the exam paper too much the way she had her essay last week.
It was unfortunate that such plans didn't always come to fruition. She had head down and worked hard at answering every question to minute detail but no matter how hard she tried it was impossible to keep her work free of all blots. Writing on parchment with a quill made it impossible to keep her work neat and tidy. She put the quill down and shook her hand. Well if the professor marked her down for lack of tidiness she was going to have to accept it as such.

Re: Term 20 DADA Exam
Aidan was completely relaxed for the Defense Against the Dark Arts exam. He, Ursula and Stephanie had prepared together for it, and Aidan was pretty confident in Stephanie's ability to not overlook anything. From the moment he sat down and had his pen in-hand, he was ready to ace this thing. Through the course of the year, he'd also developed a liking for DADA, resulting in quite high grades. He liked the practical sessions most, since that was when he could really show off with his fourth-year charms. He was ready.
Aidan filled in the pages with ease. He wasn't too sure everywhere, like about how you were supposed to handle vampire bats exactly, but that didn't matter too much. There weren't a lot of things like that. As he made his way to the final question, he saw that it was a blank page with the question: "How do you deal with fel imps from start to finish?" Aidan knew that Ursula, and maybe Stephanie, would reply with the exact same words. He wrote down in big letters, across the page: "You blow a hole in the wall, incantation "Expulso"." He kept on smiling the entire day as he didn't regret a single thing.
