Term 19 Charms Exam Empty Term 19 Charms Exam

Post by Professor Boux Mon Apr 13, 2015 7:56 am

Professor Boux looked out into her crowded classroom. She watched as all of the students as they dipped their quills into their inkpots.

"Welcome to your Charms Exam Session," Professor Boux said. "I trust that all of you have studied and are well-prepared for this, and all of your exams. The other professors and I have a very serious no-cheating policy. If I catch you cheating on this exam, you will receive a failing grade, and will probably fail my class."

"Complete your exam with your best effort. If you aren't sure of an answer, make an educated guess. Good luck."

Ooc: This is a chance to win some house points. In this thread, you will roleplay how your character takes an exam. Do they cheat, or are they honest (maybe include who they cheated off of)? Did your student study? Are they guessing on every question? After you are finished with your post, a Minister will tell you you your grade (Oustanding, Satisfactory, Unsatisfactory) and whether or not they got caught cheating. The grades influence how many points your house gets. No points will be awarded for an Unsatisfactory. A Satisfactory will receive 5 points, and an Outstanding will receive 10 points.

The posts must be at least 100 words long (like all posts on this site) and they must clearly say if your student cheated and whether or not they studied. Just because they cheat, doesn't mean they'll get caught. And your student could fail if they studied, or pass if they didn't study. Have fun!

Term 19 Charms Exam Empty Re: Term 19 Charms Exam

Lucie Banken
Seventh Year
Studied
Didn't cheat

Charms wasn't her strongest subject. The only reason why she continued on with it into her seventh year was because she found it was a subject not only necessary for most careers but also for life in the wizarding world in general. As annoyingly difficult as it could be to get the spells right it was practical and thus Lucie kept slogging at it, never giving up. And, unlike one certain Transfiguration exam a few years back, never cheating. Despite this not being the subject in which she'd cheated and got away with it Lucie still felt a twinge of guilt at the warning.

The guilt, however, wore off once it was time to begin. It was difficult for the seventh year but she knew there were harder exams yet to come. Exams which determined her overall performance at Beauxbatons for seven years. She paused over one question in particular and went onto the next one. At the end she skimmed the exam before handing it in. It wasn't until she left the classroom she realised she never did go back to that difficult question which gave her the most trouble. Well it was too late now.

Julie-Pierre Krischstein
Sixth Year
Studied
Didn't Cheat

The teen looked carefully to the paper before him, quill in hand and at the ready. This time hwas going to do it. He had studied more than enough for this, at leas tin his eyes. He had been busting his but out to make his rewards all the more perfect. If he could get a good grade on this test, maybe even a high grade, he would be having a bunch of chandy for the coming days to celebrate. He couldn't help how he was reacting, really. He knew he needed to calm down, but this was his sixth year, and he needed to show he had the right to keep going.

The time began, and his eyes looked over the questioned like a bee flying hurriedly to its hive. With each question he jotted the answer he needed, going likely a little too fast for his bridges. He was on a roll, though, an almost nothing seemed to be able to stop him. I'm going to do it, he thought. I'm gonna pass this, maybe even ace it. I'm going to. I've got to.
