MAC Meeting: Do You Want to Play a Game?
Some of Caleb's greatest memories were playing board games with his older brother on rainy days, no matter what game it was he had tons of fun playing them. With Fiona's help, a lot of her help actually, they came up with the idea of setting out different muggle board games for the members to play. Of course it would be a little hard finding such board games so they set off to Mister Van Allen's Shop of Muggle Curiosities in the Village. The shop had many muggle things and there were many games to choose from. Caleb picked out his favorite game, a candy based game, and wanted to show everyone it. Maybe, just maybe, he could get Sawyer to play it with him before he graduated. He didn't know if he liked childish games like this one, but it was worth a shot to ask anyways.
As the members gathered into the room, Caleb smiled and clapped his hands together. "Hello and welcome to another great year of Muggle Appreciation Club. It's nice to see some new and old faces. Today we fill be playing different muggle board games." He pulled a box from under a table and pulled out a few games and puzzles. "Well, let's play!"

Fiona loved puzzles more than anything. Board games were almost as good and she thought this was possibly the best idea for an MAC meeting ever. Looking around one of her favourite shops in the village for some games to take to the meeting had been great fun. Of course choosing the games was the best part. Fiona had even been surprised when her father sent some money to help finance this meeting. It wasn't normally his way.
She'd turned her nose up at the monopoly game. It was boring and far too long for someone of her short attention span. Ludo, snakes and ladders, a puzzle or two were the things of her choosing and she grinned at the little kids game her cousin chose.
Her normally messy way of doing things was turned upside down as she organised the games and puzzles on the table so that it was easy to see what was available. "Anyone want to try out a puzzle?" she asked, "or maybe trap a mouse." Fiona held up the mouse trap game which had caught her attention just before she was ready to pay for her choices. It was one she'd never heard of before and she was mighty curious as to how it was played.

Caleb loved games, he was always childish and games made him excited. Getting excited over something was his talent and he was super talented today. He went over to an empty table and set his game down. A few other club members gathered around him, wanting to know more about the game. "Well, you use these cards and they have colors on them." He picked up a card and showed it to the group.
Soon enough, the group was playing the game. A smile was plastered on Caleb's face, he was having so much fun. He was going to miss this club when he graduated next year. So much time had passed since he started school and now he was almost done, he would soon be going to the real world and it was kind of scary.

Things were progressing well in the MAC meeting. She grinned at the way Caleb got a small group interested in the game he'd chosen an set up. Fiona wasn't very interested in that one herself. It looked rather dull to her. Some of the other games though had garnered some interest and Fiona only had to explain how to play them before leaving members on their own.
"Is there anyone else in need of a game to play?" she asked. "We still have room for ludo or snakes and ladders or you could join in to help put this puzzle together." She was torn between a couple of activities but decided that perhaps she should step back and just be of assistance if anyone needed her to explain rules or something.

Harley watched and smiled as the club members unsurely put together the game. She had been raised in a Muggle family for years and knew board games like the back of her hand. When she was seven she was so desperate win that she had even memorized the playing cards and their order. Needless to say, Muggle games were Harley specialty, and at the offer to join the game, she readily accepted. "I'll play snakes and ladders with you, if you want of course," she offered. Whether it was sharks and minnows or solitaire, Harley had a competitive streak and she wasn't going to give it up any time soon. She helped set up the colourful game and smiled at the memories it brought back to her. "Do you know how to play?"
