Days We Made
Charon was clutching the letter from home. His mother had thought coming home would be a great idea. Charon decided telling Paige was most important. He certainly wasn't telling Louise. He wasn't going to Beauxbatons, he didn't want to be like his dad, and since his dad had went to Beauxbatons he had no desire to be there. He was going to miss Paige terribly, she was his only friend besides Cassie. He knew she was going to tell him to stay, and he wasn't sure he was even capable of fighting against her if she asked him to stay. Charon sat down across from Paige at the lake and smiled. "I think I might leave Beauxbatons."

Re: Days We Made
Paige was happy to be back at the palace, not that she didn't love the time she spent at home, she just liked the palace so much. She felt like a princess living there and she was always surrounded by people while at home she was ordinary and there weren't always people around. She liked being able to play quidditch again, and she liked the big meals they always served. The grounds were beautiful and most importantly she was allowed to use magic here. The only downside was that after awhile she afraid she was going to run out of candies, but she had brought a lot and hoped her parents sent plenty when she started running out.
Today she had a meeting with her best friend down at the lake. That was one of her favorite places, the lake, where the surface was so clear and reflective it literally looked like silver. She always felt happy when she was there, but her best friend was about to change that for her. The moment they settled into the grass on the bank he bluntly told her that he was thinking about leaving Beauxbatons. She stared at him in shock, feeling as if he just took a sledge hammer to her. "What? Why? What's wrong Char, you can talk to me you know that, you don't have to leave, I can help or try I promise. Why?" She asked in a rush feeling as if she were about to cry.

Re: Days We Made
The moment he said it, Charon felt like the biggest jerk in the world. Especially after Paige's reaction. He sighed softly. "It's just, well my dad left my mum and I, and it's been weird and hard trying to deal with it on my own. And after the game and everything, I dunno, it just seems like everything is getting to my head and I'm not sure who to go to anymore." When he saw the tears in the corners of her eyes he gave in. "I-I guess I haven't thought through the decision enough." He murmured and hugged Paige. "I'm going to need best friend time more often, okay?"

Paige listened to what Char had to say but the more he talked the more upset she got about the whole situation. She understood that things with parents are hard, not that she had personal experience since she had both of hers, but she knows that it sucks when it happens. She wanted to help but it was starting to sound like he didn't even want her help. He said it was a lot to deal with alone and he didn't know who to go to and that admittedly hurt her feelings quite a bit. She thought from last year and up to this point now she had proved that she cared and that she wasn't about to leave him to deal with things all alone. She only had one friend and now he was basically telling her that he didn't see her as such.
She had been about to open her mouth and say something when he seemed to change his mind about the whole situation. She wasn't sure what it was that suddenly made him realize she was there for him but it seemed to work. She hugged him before pulling back and answering. "Yeah of course. Not like I have anything else to do, plenty of time for best fried time." She said with a soft smile.
