Dorm #4: How Are You Feeling?
Greg had been worried about Kayla all summer. He knew that she got sick randomly in the spring time, right as exams were happening. He was hoping that they'd let her take her exams over the summer so she'd pass her first year, but it didn't happen. He was going to cheer her up if she were sad. It was as simple as that.
He had been disappointed when he didn't hear anything from her all summer, but Gregory knew that if something bad had happened, Cameron would have called him or wrote him a letter. And that didn't happen. But it didn't stop Greg from being concerned. It seemed like his older sister or his mother were always holding his hands. He was always antsy.
Greg knocked on Kayla's door quietly. It was early-ish, and he didn't know if she wanted to sleep longer on the weekends. Or if her roommate liked to sleep in. That would be awkward. "Hey, how are you?" he asked after she opened the door.

Re: Dorm #4: How Are You Feeling?
One advantage to repeating the year was already knowing all the material, which irked her, but at least she had more time to sleep in. She fell asleep at eight the night before and woke up at six. With the extra time until breakfast she rearranged the room. Her roommate was so untidy. Despite repeating the year, she still had the same roommate, who was currently deep in slumber. Kayla was folding her clothes when she heard a knock on her door. Opening it, she saw it was Greg.
"Hi," she smiled. "Come in." She glanced at her sleeping roommate. "Keep your voice down." She sat at the edge of her bed. "Well, I'm living. Not dying is good." Kayla yawned. She wasn't used to waking up so early. "I help the younger kids a lot. That's fun. Otherwise, repeating first year is boring. How's second year?"

Re: Dorm #4: How Are You Feeling?
Gregory crinkled his nose at Kayla's roommate. Why couldn't she be somewhere else?
"Not dying is good," Greg agreed. He pulled her desk chair toward her and sat in it. Sitting on her bed would be rude. And 'boy in her bed' could get misconstrued. Especially if Cameron heard about it. Not that it mattered. Cam was getting in so much trouble that it was ridiculous. He and Wolfie were constantly in trouble. And Riley seemed to be doing his own thing, too. Luckily Quidditch was starting up again in a few weeks.
"And second year isn't really exciting," he replied, trying to make up for the random silence. "The same kids as last year. They're mostly just taller with facial hair. Or did you mean the classes?" he joked.
