Dorm #4: Reading in the Dorm Empty Dorm #4: Reading in the Dorm

Cassandra unpacked her belongings for her second year of school, carefully placing things where they belonged. She placed her teddy bear, that her father had given her when she was three, on her pillow and hummed to herself. She put the rest of her belongings away and sat on her bed. She looked around and then thought she'd get a head start on reading her textbooks. She took her Potions book out of her stack of books and began to read. She mumbled ingredients to a sleeping potion to herself and flipped through the pages. "What is that..." She mumbled, wondering what one of the ingredients was to the potion.

Born from children's mischief Wendy loved to cause trouble for all of the inhabitants of the Beauxbatons Palace. Some of her favorite places to cause trouble was in the student dorms she could always find some interesting items there to steal. Usually one of those little brats would report the item missing to their head of house and them some professor would come down to her closet and steal them back. This time of year Wendy would normally be bothering the new firsties they were usually the easiest to spook for about half of them had never seen anything like her before. Her favorite time to mess with firsties was when it had been raining and they all came in wet so she would just throw flour on them to watch it stick.

Unfortunately today she had been too busy bothering the elves in the kitchen to realize that the firsties were coming in and missed them, so to make up for that disappointment she decided to go upstairs to the dorms to cheer her up. The first one she came across had just one girl in it yet (she assumed the other was running late) reading her textbooks in her bed. Could you get any lamer? She thought to herself. Thankfully the nerdy little girl didn't yet see Wendy's head poking in through the wall so she could surprise this brat. She pulled back into the hall before pushing right ahead fulling into the room keeping a good few feet off the floor. "Wendy." She simply said in a slightly lower voice in attempt to spook the girl.

Cassandra froze up, she slowly looked over her book. She screamed and threw her book at the ghost. "Get away!" She held her pillow up in a way to protect herself. How was this supposed to protect me?, she thought, she also threw the pillow at the her. She grabbed the closest item around her, which turned out to be another textbook. "Get away! I'm warning you!" She was more terrified of the ghost than she wanted to be. She scanned the room and grabbed her wand, but all of the spells she knew escaped her brain and all she could think of was this 'Wendy' ghost.
