Broom Hunting

Charlotte entered the store with curiosity, everywhere she looked the new models of brooms hung on the walls; while the ones which would be sold were lined up behind one another. To her this was a delectable sweet store which held wonderers inventions made of wood. However one Broom imparticular caught her eye the fire Bolt with its raged Brussels at the end.

She walked over to it with wonder in her eyes "amazing.." she breathed in awe as her fingers went over the coating of the stick part of the broom, her eyes were glued to it. How desperately she wanted this broom but unfortunately her parents didn't like her flying since an incident happened with one of her family members, involving a broom in a Quidditch match. Charlotte sighed and put it back, her eyes not leaving it a sad look was in her eyes and a pout graced her features.

'It's not fair..' she thought to herself looking around once more 'They used to fly Brooms and now they won't let me!' she thought angrily a frown upon her features "stupid rules..." she muttered, she walked over towards the Quiddtich Balls, she picked up a quaffle and started examining it.

Ryan was used to getting whatever he wanted and he always wanted the best. He always got the best, he was in fact spoiled to the bone. But he didn't care, he liked the way he was. And if people didn't like him for who he was then they weren't worth his time. The only person that he thought was worth his time was his brother, Stark. He thought his brother was super cool and did everything right. His brother was the coolest person ever in Ryan's book and if someone disagreed they were clearly wrong.

His brother was busy shopping and said they'd meet up later. All of his shopping was done and he wasn't ready to meet his brother at the pub just yet so he went into a shop that he had already visited. He had his eye on a broom but he wasn't going to buy it because what was the point? He wasn't interested in playing quidditch and the school provided brooms for students who didn't have their own. But the idea of having a better broom than the other first years, so he made his way the brooms and other quidditch supplies. He eyed a girl that was looking at some ball, what was she doing? He hoped he dropped it on her foot or something. "Hello," he said in hopes of scaring her and making her drop the heavy ball.

Charlotte looked at the ball still in deep concentration eyeing it up carefully. However she didn't notice anyone staring at her until she heard a 'hello', she jumped slightly; the ball flew out of her hands, but her instincts kicked in and she caught it just before it landed on her feet. She turned to look at the boy with a small smile "Hello.." she said and placed the ball back "Lucky I caught that otherwise it would of landed on my foot and probably broken it" she says and turns to face the boy.

She eyed him curiously 'did he want that ball to land on my feet?' she thought to herself, even so the smile was still on her face. Charlotte noticed the boy seemed to be carrying a lot of packages "oh are you are first year?" she asked with curiosity "your going to love it at Beauxbatons, everyone there is so nice what house do you want to be in?" she asked walking over to the boy.

He tried to keep a straight face, but he couldn't help but be a little disappointed that the ball hadn't crushed her foot. Now that would have been a sight to see, it would be the perfect way to start his first year at Beauxbatons. He would have told everyone about the girl who had dropped a bludger onto her foot. But she didn't so he couldn't laugh at her. "What's it to you?" He said rudely, she should have dropped the stupid ball on her foot so he could laugh. "So what if I'm a fist year?"

Didn't people understand that only important people could talk to him? The only person to live up to that expectation was his brother and he loved to talk to his brother. Of course he was going to have to find someone worthy of his attention if he were to have any friends, but it was hard when everyone he met was an idiot. "I know how nice Beauxbatons is, my brother goes there." He rolled his eyes at the girl, clearly she was apart of the other idiots he had already met.

"Oh? So your one of those people" she says rolling her eyes "I only asked you a question there is no need to get your nickers in a twist" she was obviously offend by this and She glared at him "you best be one of those pure blood families who think they are better then everyone else when they aren't". Charlotte had already experienced someone being rude to her, when she was a first year and she wasn't going to let someone walk all over her and make her feel small.

She was about to explode with the look this boy was giving her, he looked at her as if she was mud on his she felt offended to say the least. " I was only wondering there was no need to be rude now was there? How was I supposed to know your brother went there Hm?" She asked folding her arms and giving him a look.

"One of what people?" He didn't need to be accused of being 'someone' when this girl didn't even know him. He liked to say he was misunderstood, but that wasn't the case. He just had a bad attitude but that changed when he was with his brother. He was a sweet angel when his brother was around. "Look, I don't know who you think you are but no one talks to me like that. Have some respect for my awesomeness." People needed to respect Ryan, at least that was his opinion. "No, I'm not from a pureblood family that thinks they're better than everyone else. Guess again." He was a pureblood but he didn't act like he was better than other because of his blood status. It was because he was actually better than them, at least he thought he was.

"Maybe you should know who you go to school with," he glared. He wanted her to walk away and leave him alone. Who cared if she was there first? He was better than her by far. "I think you're the one with the problem."

"Oh really?" She said with a scoff "respect your awesomeness? I don't think so since there isn't any there" she folded her arms and narrowed her eyes at the boy in front of herself. "Wait you think your better ten everyone else not be aide your a pure blood but because you think your actually better than everyone else?" Charlotte said raising an eyebrow "you are just like them, but it's actually funny that you can't see it"

"No I'm not, you were trying to scar me on purpose weren't you?'!" She said disgust in her voice "I know who I go to school maybe you should watch your tone otherwise you won't have anyone to hang around with you spoilt brat" she said venom in her voice , Charlotte thought this was rather amusing.

"Do you really think you're hurting my feelings?" He snicked, this girl was going down. "Excuse me, I'm pretty sure I'm better than you. More people like me, I have more personality, and I'm just a better person." He knew how to get the things he wanted, he knew how to change his personality, he knew how to do tons of things. "I act like no one but myself. And who said I thought I was better because of blood status? Ha! That's not the case at all, I'm better because I am."

"Was it that obvious?" He smirked, no use playing innocent. She was already getting on his nerves. "You think you can ruin my social life?" He began to laugh until his side hurt, he then became serious. "You can't do anything, you have no power over me. You think you do, you don't. So, don't act as if you can do anything, because you can't. Go ahead and try, I bet you have no friends. So, go away."

"I'm not trying to hurt your feelings..." she said with a sigh "your not better than anyone..." she said in a matter-of-fact-tone. "your ego is way too big and you need to shrink it" she said folding her arms In defence, all she really wanted to do was to get the boy in-frot of her to realise that everyone is the same, that no-one is better than anyone else just because they may be different. "see! your doing it again! your just inflating your ego by thinking you are better than everyone else because you have always had your own way"

"it is now! that's really mean!" she said narrowing her eyes. "I'm not trying to ruin your swo called 'social life', I'm only stating the obvious facts that are in-front of me.." Charlotte huffed and stood her ground, "I'm not going anywhere! and you can't make me, since your not the boss of me"
