You could find anything at the gag shop, including fireworks. Which Payton and Sawyer had found and were going to set them off at the quidditch celebration, which Payton was hosting. They had won two games of the three games they played, which meant they had won the cup that year. Payton was glad that he had helped them win by catching the snitch.

Since Osmund wasn't much of a party type, he had asked Payton to throw the celebration instead. Payton felt honored, Osmund was leaving it up to him. He decided to throw the party outside after he had found the fireworks at the shop. He decorated as much as he could witg the setting being outside instead of indoors. He hoped it didn't rain, it showed no sign of any rain.

Purple and red streamers hung on the trees and there was confetti on the ground. Payton hoped that it wouldn't be too hard to clean up and also hoped that no one would noticed if he missed a few spots after he cleaned. With the help of a boy he had met earlier this year, he borrowed a stereo from him. He was a pure blood but had muggle items and offered up his stereo for music. With the help of some batteries, the stereo was able to be brought outside. Payton had also set up a table full of delicious foods, drinks, and desserts.

"Before I play some muggle CDs, I would like to say something before we party. Thanks to our wonderful captain, we won two games! Even though he could cut down on the yelling, which he has, he is still an awesome captain. Without his leadership we would have never won. So, cheers to Osmund!" After his speech, Payton turned on the stereo. "Now we party!"

Caleb was happy that he could help with the party, he had supplied the CDs and the stereo. When Paytin had asked about it, he had offered right away to help. He was also glad that they had won two if the three games. He had been to every game and cheered on both teams. Even though he was supposed to cheer on his house's team, he couldn't pick one team to cheer. He had friends on the other team and wanted them to succeed too.

Caleb was excited about the party and was ready to congratulate the players. He had congratulated Payton beforehand and even helped him set up. He did whatever he could do help with the party. He was ready to mingle with people and become friends with people. "We should thank Payton for throwing this party," Caleb managed to say after Payton finished talking but before he had turned on his stereo. After he said what he had to say, the stereo played one of his favorite songs. He was ready to dance and talk.

When Montagnard had taken home the Quidditch cup, it was only expected for them to have a party for the whole team and the house to celebrate the win, just like Cerisier had done the year prior. However, Osmund wasn't much of a partier. He remembered the fancy parties his father had with all his fancy pants rich friends, which were all classy and overly clean so that he wasn't allowed to join in them, for fear he would make a mess. Those were the only parties he ever really knew and assumed that Montagnard house would want something more on the loose and fun side. He was not the man for the job.

That and the fact that Osmund was lazy caused him to turn elsewhere for the party. He asked Montagnard's seeker, and personal cheerleader, to put something fun together. He wondered why he had chosen the grounds, but everything looked festive enough, so he was fine with it.

Grabbing a pumpkin juice, Osmund tried to stay on the outskirts of the action and out of sight. He'd rather watch than participate, since this really wasn't his scene, and almost wanted to strangle Johnson when the young boy brought attention to him for a toast. Osmund blushed at the kind words, ignoring the fact that even while praising him, it was still mentioned that he yelled too much. Osmund didn't say a word, but raised his glass and drank the juice along with everyone else. He knew that if it weren't for his yelling, his teammates probably wouldn't try as hard as they did to please him. He smiled to himself keeping the secret behind his locked lips.

Time to Dance Empty Re: Time to Dance

Paige had been so happy that her team had won the quidditch cup the first year she was involved, but she did feel kind of bad that it took her hurting her friend to get that accomplished. However she only felt a little bad about it, besides Char knew that was part of the game and if he wasn't prepared for that he was in the wrong sport, it was her job to hit people. She was decent though Char thought differently, though that was probably his pain medicine talking, her real goal was to one day be as good as her captain. While sometimes he was really intimidating she knew it was only because he cared of the sport the same way she did. If she got to be half as good as Osmund as a beater she would feel she accomplished a lot in her mini quidditch career, who knows maybe if she got good enough she could be captain like him when he graduated.

The party that Payton was throwing for all of Montagnard house out on the grounds was nice, but she felt kind of out of it since the people she knew best were Cerisiers. Some people she didn't know came up to her to talk about the nice hits she had gotten in this season and she smiled and thanked them before making her way to the edges of the party. After getting herself a drink she spotted the captain standing alone near the edge of everything. She decided to go talk to him, so she bounded over to where he stood. "Hey Captain!" She said cheerfully. "Are you not enjoying the party? We might not be having this if it weren't for you. I heard last year Captain D'Angelo was a big participant in the party last year so isn't it kind of like the captain's job?" She asked starting to ramble about unimportant things before she remembered who she was talking to and she slapped a hand over her mouth before filling it with her drink.

Annaliese walked into the celebration with a bright happy grin on her face. She was so happy that they had won the cup this year. She looked around for the captain of the team and eventually saw him. Looking his way, she soon locked eyes with him, but then looked away quickly...she remembered him saying straight to her face. 'I don't even like you...' His words had floated into her mind, during and after the game....what had happened in the locker room was to be kept between them and only them....but she couldn't help, but feel a little upset and misplaced as she had the past to days. She sighed to herself and went to find someone she could talk to. This was a party after all....she couldn't be all grim a sad..now could she?

Glancing around she saw that everyone was somewhat preoccupied with either someone else or themselves. She shrugged and decided to make the best of what she could. Grabbing some pumpkin juice, she took a sip and sat down on the ground and kicked off her shoes. They had won...and they all deserved it...but in all honesty...she didn't feel like a winner.

When Marie-Laure first heard of Cerisier's long running success she'd been a little concerned about the abilities of the team she'd joined. The first year liked to be on a winning team. The second game of the season though proved they were more than capable of beating the former champions. Both teams did after all have an relatively even number of young players. For her that meant they could do nothing but continue to improve.

She would be part of this team for her whole seven years and it would be nice for Montagnard to continue to be the winning team for all of those seven years. She studied the captain and wondered who here would replace him once he was gone? Would they be someone who would tell the truth about the team performance like he did? Or would it be someone who was into 'ecouragement'? She wrinkled her nose in distaste at the thought. That, in her opinion, was equal to lying.

Marie-Laure picked up a pumpkin juice and glanced around at her teammates. Mates though wasn't really a good term for it considering she only really mixed with them on the Quidditch pitch. She did share a room with Paige but Marie-Laure didn't even know her all that well. Of the ones not on the team the only one she could see there was Caleb. Where was the rest of the Montagnards?

The witch had enough of just standing around and not talking to anyone. Though about the only other person there not speaking to anyone was Annaliese. She hadn't formed any real good opinion of this blonde witch. Maybe it was about time to see what this girl was like outside of Quidditch. She sat down next to the older girl and crossed her legs. "You don't look like much of a winner," she said bluntly. "Are you feeling bad about the number of goals you let through?"

Time to Dance Empty Re: Time to Dance

The party was going great, everyone seemed to be having a good time. Except the blonde second year, her name slipped Payton's mind. Payton was ready to go over there but stopped when he saw someone else approach her instead. How could someone be in a bad mood at a time like this? They had won! Maybe it was a girl thing, Payton had never understood girls.

He watched everything around him, it was almost time for the big fanale of the party. But before he would do that, he would have to start enjoying himself too. He walked over to Osmund, who was hiding away from the party, Paige with him. "Hey, Paige. Aren't you guys going to dnace or something?" Though it probably wasn't Oz's style, it was a good time to dance. Payton couldn't imagine Osmund dancing to this pop music. The thought brought a smile to his face. "This isn't your type of scene, is it, Osmund?" He already knew the answer to that, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to try to get him out of his comfort zone. "Come on, lets dance."

He grabbed ahold of their arms and pulled a bit, not forcing them to move. If they wanted to they could, Payton didn't expect Osmund to. If he refused, which he probably would, Payton would just have to dance in front of him. And that would probably embarass the both of them. "I can just dance in front of you if you don't want to dance. But its more fun if you dance too."

Time to Dance Empty Re: Time to Dance

This party was going smoothly and people were enjoying themselves. It seemed like everyone had someone to talk to but him. He was all alone and eveyone seemed busy. But that was okay with him, even though he didn't like being by himself. He was ready to dance and he was going to. Once a new song began play, Caleb began to dance. Swayiing around and acting a bit crazy. He didn't care that he looked like a total idiot and a mix between and bird and a rapid dog, he was having fun.

A while later, he grew tired and decided to take a break. He went over to the table full of food and grabbed a drink, pumpkin juice, and chugged the drink. It was starting to grow dark and the party would probably be ending in about an hour or two. This was his first party and it was great.

Everyone was dancing. Oh sweet Merlin, everyone was dancing. Everyone except Osmund, of course. The party seemed popular enough with the crowd, but it wasn't Osmund's choice of style. He wasn't much of a dancer in the first place, but the style of music he liked would probably leave the party planner and unofficial cheerleader, Payton Johnson, hiding under his bed with his hands covering his ears to find sanctuary from the sounds. It was better this way, it really was.

He was content with just being a presence at the party rather than a part of it, but it didn't take long for someone to make their way over and try to stir up conversation. He raised an eyebrow as the cheerful blonde, the other beater and pulled his lips into a small smile. "This party is for you guys to enjoy. You've earned it," he replied, not caring to get more involved. His smile vanished as she said he should be more of a part of it like Christian had when Cerisier was throwing a party. "Well I'm not Christian, am I?" He nearly growled, but left it at that, for then Payton was coming over.

"No," He replied sternly to being asked to dance. He folded his arms in front of his chest as Payton reached to grab his hand. "You're right. Now go find someone else to dance with," the words sounded cold. He didn't hate Payton, he just hated dancing and if he danced here, everyone would see and never let him live it down. "Didn't you say you had fireworks or something?" Osmund tried to change the topic.

Well, that was a failure at trying to get the captain to dance. But Payton didn't take it as an insult, he already knew that he wouldn't have danced. "You just looked like you weren't enjoying yourself, so I tried to help." At the mention of fireworks, Payton nodded. "Its like a finale to the party. I just thought I'd have a bit of fun before I let them off." This was the perfect time to let off the fireworks. "I'll go do that now."

Payton went back to where he had been and pulled out a box from under the table that had the stereo on it. He opened the box and looked at the firworks. He was glad that Sawyer was there to help him set off the fireworks.

He pulled a huge firework and set it up. He had got fireworks to match the team colors, red and purple. It was the perfect ending to the party. He set off the party into the air, it exploded into purple and red lights and looked amazing. Payton was proud of this party and the fireworks. They set them off one by one, each exploding the air with reds and purples. It was perfect. He high fived Sawyer and smiled proudly.
