Sweet Tooth

Out of all the shops in Amethyst alley, none of them could’ve brought a bigger smile to Persephone’s than the Sugar Shack. Just the sound of it made Percy believe that a candy land awaited her behind it’s closed doors. She had passed by it early in her shopping trip, but Walter had appealed that she had just eaten and candy would make her lethargic. They agreed, however, that whatever remained of their money after shopping for school supplies would be spent on a hefty amount of candy.

With her shopping now complete, Walter Grimm had graciously agreed to hold her bags and allow her to roam free in the candy shop. Her green eyes widened at the site before her. She had been in candy shops before, but never a ‘wizards’ candy shop and Merlin’s holey sock was it better than muggle candy!

Running from one end to another and back again, Persephone wanted to try it all. Everything seemed so new and exciting and all Percy wanted to do was share her excitement. She plucked a box of candy from the shelf and in her ecstasy, turned to the closest person to her and began talking. “Did you know these beans...” Percy started, “They’re called every flavoured beans. They come in all flavours! Like dirt and...defeat! Isn’t that wicked!?” She held the box up in front of their face, expecting them to become animated as well.
