Detention: Rotten Kids Empty Detention: Rotten Kids

Post by Professor Cox Sun Mar 31, 2013 1:05 pm

Today's detention was to be hosted by Professor Cox and merlin knew how much he hated that job. He extremely disliked having to sit in a room with a handful of nasty little trouble makers and just watch them. That was why he usually made his detentions full of work so he didn't have to just watch the kids sit quietly forever. He usually had the students clean up whatever mess it was that landed them in detention but it looked like today's kids hadn't caused a mess big enough for that so he was going to have to get creative and think of something for them. He had thought about it all night and finally decided on one.

Professor Cox lead the three silent trouble makers up the ever winding stairs of the Northeast Tower. At the very top there was a small door which opened into a large empty and very old classroom. This room had been empty for as long as Professor Cox could remember he wasn't even sure what class had been in here. All he knew was that there were a ton of cobwebs and even some live spiderwebs, there was a thick layer of dust on everything and in some of the corners you could find a sticky green substance that no one was quite sure what it was just something a few kids left after they used the room.

"Alright you nasty, little, trouble makers listen up cause I'm only gonna say this once. I bet you thought you would be able to sit around for hours working on school work, well you were wrong. Today you are going to be cleaning this room all of it right down to that green stuff in the corners. When you leave this room I want everything spotless, I even have permission from the Head Mistress to keep you longer if it's not done." He told them all firmly. With a wave of his wand a large bin full of any clean supply you could ever want came flying through the door. "Well get to it!"

Detention: Rotten Kids Empty Re: Detention: Rotten Kids

Osmund was being unusually quiet for once. Standing among the other students, all familiar faces, who had also been caught doing one thing or another, Osmund kept his eyes averted and his head down from it's usual platform that insinuated his was better than the rest. Today he was just a delinquent in the eyes of others.

He was ashamed, really. Worries of word getting back to his father on him being in detention plagued the boy's spirit as he followed quietly and obediently. He had only done what he had because he was weak in the subject and knew that he was most definitely do poorly on the test. Osmund couldn't take a failing grade. It would never please his father, so he had snuck into the Professor's office while they were busy talking to another student and snatched the answer key. 'Cheating isn't allowed, as you can imagine, Mr. Hollow.' The professor had told him after Oz had been pulled aside after scoring unusually well on the test. No doubt they noticed the absence of their answer key and made the connection. Osmund should've just accepted the failing grade.

As humbled as the boy was feeling, an eyebrow was still raised at their assignment placed. "Cleaning?" They were children, not house elves! The already miserable Oulett was disgusted by the idea of doing such peasants work and took a few steps back as tools of cleaning was summoned forward. "Can't we just do lines instead?" Osmund replied, folding his arms across his chest and looking to see what the others thought of their task.

Detention: Rotten Kids Empty Re: Detention: Rotten Kids

It was not unusual for Teddy to receive punishments after all, she had been brought up in a household with many different types of personalities and it had became almost natural for her to be a little curious. Even though apparently the school rules didn't tolerate curiosity around midnight? And didn't tolerate 'sleep walking' young girls around the school?

Anyway, her big eyes scanning the room she noticed the familiar faces of her class mates as she looked around the strange empty classroom. Before her eyes roamed back to the teacher who didn't exactly seem like the type to get on the wrong side of, yet again she couldn't really judge as she guessed she was already on that side due to the detention part of their meeting.

With the instruction to clean? She guessed it was a better punishment than lines or something that wouldn't let her move around. As, Teddy hated to be restricted and made to be still for more than a few minutes. Hearing a familiar voice, turning slightly she raised an eyebrow towards him. She defiantly recognized the boy from her classes, not that she had really spoken much to him really as what she had gathered from their first meeting was that he thought that he was better than others? Shaking off any doubts none the less as she had been brought up not to judge others she exhaled slightly and smiled to him. "This will be quicker than doing lines" she shrugged slightly "anyways if you do it quickly, the faster you'll get to go."
