Monsieur Avery used to work in a wizarding hospital in Wales until he moved to France. Instead of taking up a position in their hospital he found Beauxbatons in need of a healer and took the position. He has always been very caring and gentle, Avery has known most of his life that he wanted to heal people. There isn't much he hasn't seen a student come in with.
