Patience was a virtue that Osmund had often failed to practice. His patience had been tried often that day, between all the waiting in the pub and the waiting he was still doing to get his very own pet, Osmund had slowly been losing his patience. This little event wasnt helping either. A wand was a necessity for any wizard and as much as Osmund desired to get his wand, the process was proving to be obscenely long.

"Perhaps this one." Another wand placed in his hand. Osmund waved the wand with a disinterested flourish of his wrist only to watch yet another disaster occur before his eyes. The papers that rested on the desk caught on fire and were put out by the quick actions of the shopkeeper.

"You sure you know what you are doing," Osmund questioned the shopkeeper. After all, if the shopkeeper had known disasters were to come of the wrong wands, why wasnt the shop better set up to prevent such things? However the shopkeeper insisted they were professional and handed over another wand.

"Blackthorn, with unicorn hair core, 13 inches." Whatever. Though Osmund didn't even need to wave the wand before the wand was acting on its own. It let off a warm glow that brought a relieved smile to the shopkeeper. "Yes yes! This is the one!"
