That Horse Has Wings!

While exploring the school grounds, August found himself in the stables. He wasn't quite sure how he had gotten there, but he was glad he did; But how was he going to find his way back? It couldn't be that hard, but August was one for getting lost and distracted. He would have to enjoy himself while he was there and check out the stables and the cretures inside.

He entered the stables and looked around. His eyes grew large as he stared at a horse with wings. An actual horse with wings! How cool was that! Of course he knew what they were, they were in stories and myths, but he couldn't remmeber the name of the creature. "Hi!" He stepped a bit closer the the animal, careful not to frighten it, he held out his hand for it to sniff. "Aren't you a sight for sore eyes?" He smiled when the creature rubbed its head against his hand.

August wasn't much of an animal person but ever since he had talked to Cassie about animals at the pet store, he wanted to know more. It was exciting to learn facts about the unique cretures. He would have to ask her if she knew anything about the strange creature that was in front of him.
