Melanie was given important instructions to keep an eye on her sisters, McKenna especially. Cori wasn’t one to just wander off like the other one. Melanie just felt bad because Hayden had to deal with her sisters now too. They left Mrs. Arnett and Ms. Lawrence at Le Petit Dragon to go get some more supplies.

Currently, they all agreed to get some candy. Melanie had some extra galleons she was willing to spend on the twins. She wandered about the shop with Hayden while the twins were focused on licorice wands in a different corner of the shop. “How was the rest of your summer?” She asked curiously and looked up at Hayden.

Cori wandered around with Melanie like a lost puppy. "Why do people eat candy? I don't get it. It makes your mouth all sticky." Cori sighed softly. "Can't we just go to the bookstore already?" She smushed her face into her sister's shoulder. "This is dumb." She was extremely tempted to just sit down on the ground. She looked up and saw her sister and Hayden off on their own. "Well, would you look at that, McKenna?" She snickered. "We could definitely mess with them." She giggled excitedly at the opportunity to do something instead of looking at all the different variations of sugar that lined the walls of the shop.

McKenna looked over at the face currently smushed against her shoulder. “Soon, Cori. We’ll get to the bookstore and spend however long you want in there.” She patted her twin’s head, knowing that it was one of the things that annoyed her. McKenna was distracted by some candy with ‘blood’ in the titled of it. “Hm?” She glanced over then grinned at the pair of second years. “I think you mean we should definitely mess with them.” She corrected with a sly grin. Cori was the brains of their little operation, McKenna was just the one stupid enough to do most of the stuff.

"We could use that fake blood candy...and..." She looked around the shop quickly "...And one of those sugar wands. We can dip the wand in the blood and fling the blood at her and Hayden from and angle so it looks like it is falling from the ceiling. She freaks out and leaves the store. Hayden follows after her and we laugh our brains out." It wasn't one of Cori's more ingenious plans, but she didn't have a lot of resources to work with at the moment. "Alright, let's buy our ammunition and our weapon of choice." Cori was perfectly happy with avoiding people though. "You pay for it though. I don't want to talk to the lady."

McKenna knew that wasn’t the best Cori could do, but with all that they had in the shop, it was good enough. Melanie was soooo going to hate them, but that was only if their older sister figured out this was their doing. McKenna helped Cori gather up everything that they needed to carry out their shenanigans. Cori didn’t really have to ask her to pay, she was already planning on being the one to pay. She still made her come up to the counter with her. McKenna smiled politely and chatted it up with the shopkeeper. Once everything was purchased, they hid in one of the aisles. “Ready?” She grinned.

"Very read." Cori grinned at her sister. "All you have to do is hold it at about ninety degrees, push down on the end and let it go and it should land right in Melanie's hair or right in front of her. Regardless, she's going to freak out." The girl yawned and looked over as someone entered the store. It was a well endowed woman in her twenties. Cori blinked a couple times and went back to watching for the perfect moment. "Now, McKenna get her." Cori grinned. Melanie was going to flip. Maybe then the twins could get a cat because she'd leave with Hayden. This was an increasingly better plan.

McKenna grinned excitedly. She got everything ready and waited for Cori’s word. She glanced over at her twin and wondered why she got distracted. Not that it really mattered. McKenna laughed a bit maniacally and flung the candy towards her sister and her friend. The first attack hit Melanie in the back of the head. McKenna quickly got more ammo ready and flung it. This time it hit Hayden square in the forehead. Oops… McKenna was aiming for Melanie again. She was going to have to apologize with a muffin basket or something. She was pulled from her thoughts with a shriek from her big sister.

Melanie was having a nice conversation with Hayden. It was peaceful because the twins were busy looking about the shop. They hadn’t even come up to her to ask for more money. Which was surprising. And concerning. Mainly concerning. She kept glancing around, to keep an eye on them.

Melanie had gotten distracted by the conversation that she had lost track of the twins. Then something hit her in the back of the head. She reached behind her. It was sticky. She pulled her hand away and red. What? Melanie looked up in time to see Hayden get smacked right in the forehead with the candy. Her eyes widened and she screamed. She couldn’t help it and it was mainly out of frustration with her sisters. She was going to kill them later.
