Quidditch Celebration Empty Quidditch Celebration

Sawyer had been in his fourth year the last time Montagnard had won enough matches to take home the quidditch house cup. A lot of people seemed to blame his twin for this but Sawyer knew that the teen was giving it his all, besides the rest of the team was equally at fault. However that wasn't anything to worry about anymore for this year the red and purple house had won the first two games securing the cup for their house. Since what their last year and Payton had finally showed his team and everyone else how great of a seeker he was Sawyer decided to throw them a party in celebration. It had been long enough since they've had last won that the party had to be fantastic.

In the Montagnard common room Sawyer had started decorating for the party. When some younger students saw what he was doing they asked to help the prefect, he let them help and in no time the place looked party ready. He had already posted flyers all over the place telling everyone about the celebration and of course had Payton tell his teammates so they would be there. "Welcome, welcome, welcome." He greeted everyone that entered the room was the party was starting. He hoped the captain would show up and give a little speech cause he didn't really know enough to say anything.

Fiona may not have contributed anything to the win other than that accidental goal in the first match but it was nice to know she was still a part of the winning team. This year certainly had been different. Playing quidditch despite having a fear of flying and not being very good at sport in the first place and becoming a prefect despite her track record of numerous detentions and pranks. Surely next year, even with its Valentine's Ball, couldn't top this one for strange things.

She'd been little prepared for the party which had been organise when she entered the room. "Really?" she asked, "You shouldn't have and it isn't even by birthday." Fiona grinned as she knew the real reason for a party. They just had to wait for the Captain and the seeker to put in their appearances. After all those two were most likely to be the real reason for the win.

When Sawyer came to him with the idea of a party, Payton wanted to help his brother out. But the slightly older boy said that he had everything under control and that all Payton had to do was tell his teammates about the celebration. It was nice to know his brother would go out of his way to throw a party for the quidditch team,. but he wished he could be of more help than just gathering his teammates. Sawyer had his way of doing things and Payton wasn't going to get in the way of that. So, he did his part and told his fellow teammates about the party.

He had done everything on his part, which was only one thing really, and was ready to help do more. By the time he got to the actual party, his brother was done and some guests had showed up. So much for helping out some more, but he couldn't complain. "Nice job, Sawyer," he said with a grin. He had done a great job with the decorations.

Caleb always enjoyed parties and fun activities so when it came to his attention that Sawyer was throwing a party for the Montagnard quidditch team, he was eager to join in the celebration. He wanted to help out a bit too, but it looked like Sawyer had the decorations under control. So, Caleb set out to look for Montagnard classmates that would be interested in the party. He ran into a few familiar faces and told them about the party in the common room. He thought he was doing a great job at helping.

Once he thought he had told enough people, he headed back towards the common room. When he entered, the decorations were all done. Looks like he didn't need to help after all. He was going to go over to Sawyer and tell him what a great job he did, but his twin beat him to it. He backed away and turned around to find someone else to talk to while the older boy was busy. He was determined to get a word in with him before the celebration was over.

Parties weren't really Mabel's thing, she didn't care for them one bit. But since she was apart of the quidditch team, it was only natural for her to go. She would leave early though, she didn't want to stay there for too long. Maybe she'd ditch the party and go hang out with Fane, well, after she made an appearance. Most of the attention would be set on the captain and the seeker, but students did expect the whole quidditch team to show up. Besides, she wanted to get a conversation in with the captain before leaving.

She sat by herself on a couch while others chatted. She picked at her nails while she waited for the captain to show up. She said hello to her cousin when he passed her and tried her best to avoid her annoying sister.

Parties were always fun, at least that was Ruby's opinion of celebrations. She enjoyed people gathering together, the music parties provided, and decorations. Decorations were always so pretty, they were her favorite part of parties, besides the music. Montagnard had proved themselves this year and won the cup for their house. Maybe she'd write an article about the seeker next year after he graduated. Or maybe the captain. Or the beaters. Or maybe the whole team. Would she be able to interview all of them in time to get an article done? Of course it would be for next year since she had already written one for this year.

Being the friendly person she was, Ruby walked up to the first person she saw and smiled at them. "Hello." She bowed her head then looked back up at the person. "Isn't this a great party?"

They'd won the cup and thus it was only natural there should be a party. Marie-Laure did love a good party, no matter who organised it. She smiled when she finally entered the room. Payton's brother certainly had done a good job of organising it and Marie-Laure knew what she'd say in a way of a speech. Not yet though. The timing was not right. For now she would just enjoy the party.

The sixth year's eyes nearly popped out of her head at the younger girl who'd approached her and bowed her head. She'd only seen a few of those Asian businessmen who came into her father's shop do that before. Never anyone here at Beauxbatons. Marie-Laure recovered herself enough to give a response. "The decorations are impressive but I'm afraid you'll have to wait until the end before I can tell you if it's a great party. The beginning is great though."

Rene was so excited for the party with his fellow housemates for winning the cup. He wanted to congratulate all the players as well as give a gift to Fiona for winning as well. It was nothing to crazy, just a broom case, but he'd gotten it monogrammed with her name.

Of course he hadn't brought it downstairs with him. He wasn't a geek, but he did intend to give it to her at some point in the evening. He wandered around the room giving out congratulatory words and headed over to Payton. He extended her hand. "Congrats on the 'ship Payton. You guys earned it big time."
