Daydreaming Leads to Trouble
Daydreaming had often gotten Stephanie into trouble but never trouble like this. Professor Cox was bound to give her detention for the rest of the year for missing one DADA lesson. He could be downright terrifying whenever he noticed she wasn't paying attention. What was he going to do to her when he finally caught up with her after missing an entire lesson? She hadn't meant to open the wrong door but she was afraid the professor would not take that as an excuse.
She shifted uncomfortably in the cupboard and decided to try to call out to a passerby. Lessons should be over by now shouldn't they? Even Professor Cox would be a welcome rescuer. She made sure the wand was off and securely in her bag before she began banging on the door. "HELP," she shouted, "SOMEONE PLEASE OPEN THIS DOOR!" Would anyone hear her? More importantly would they be more successful in opening the door than she'd been?
