Target Practice

After the vampire was caught, the rumors of Mabel being a vampire died down. Mabel didn't care much about that and was just glad they could finally go outside. Once classes were over, Mabel ran to her room and bundled up in her coat, hat, and mittens. She then ran outside and smiled up to the sky. Though it was cold outside, she thought it felt nice. There was snow on the ground and Mabel was going to take advantage of that. She rolled several snow balls and began throwing them at innocent people with a lot of force. She laughed every time she hit someone.

She rolled another and aimed at an older girl, but not that much older. She laughed loudly when it hit the girl. She was having a blast, even though her victims weren't. It was just so fun to mess with people. She smirked and threw another at the same dark haired girl. She had found her new target.

Odette was having a peaceful day to herself...snow had just fallen and everything seem blissful. She was walking across the castle reading as she walked along the icy path skating in her step as she continued when suddenly something was thrown at her..a snowball. She fell to the ground dropping her book, she was a pretty skinny fragile girl..so it was easy for her to be downed by a small force. Looking up to she saw the culprit. It was a girl, dark hair like her own...but it wasn't a mistake she kept going at it. "Leave me alone!" She said trying to take cover.

Mabel laughed when the girl took a fall, it was so funny. She laughed even harder when the girl told her to leave her alone. Like she was going to listen to her. This was too much fun and her plead only made Mabel want to throw more. One after another, snowballs were thrown at the other girl. Though Mabel was very short and tiny, she had a strong throwing arm and she was going to test it out.

She scooped up some more snow and patted it into a ball. She smirk when it was perfect and threw with all her might. She wouldn't be surprised if it left a bruise on the other girl, which was what Mabel was hoping would happen. Once she was done, she curtsied at the girl. "You're welcome." The smirk on her face grew bigger and she was glowing with pride. Now it was time for the other girl to cry and run away.

Odette felt the strong ball of frozen water hit her face hard, she felt something pop in her mouth...She coughed and blood spit out and suddenly she felt something hard in her mouth, it was a tooth the hit had made her loose a tooth. She felt the blood fill her mouth. She started to cry softly and then she felt rage growing in her. She didn't know this girl, she had just hit her for no reason and there was going to be hell to pay. She quickly stood up and tackled the girl..she started to throw punches left and right at the girl. "You ignorant filthy jerk!!!" She smacked her and punched her again.

Before Mabel knew it, she was knocked onto the ground and being hit on. Oh that's it! Mabel grabbed the girl's hair and pulled her off. "Who are you calling filthy!? I'm pretty sure my hair isn't greasy and gross like yours!" Then Mabel was on top of her and throwing punches. If there was one thing Mabel did well, it was fighting. No way was she going to let this girl hit her! Who did she think she was!? Her punches began to become more hard with every nasty thought. She wasn't going to take this girl's shit.

Blood was everywhere and Mabel wasn't sure if some of it was hers. All she knew was that this girl attacked her and she wanted her revenge. People had crowded around to watch the show.

Was Christian a particularly nice person, not usually but he wasn't always mean either. He was however consistent in his behavior, he never bothered anyone that didn't bother him first. Today he was being a good guy and minding his own business, he hadn't made anyone cry today and he wasn't out looking for trouble. However it just so happened he was going to find it anyways, while walking around the grounds he saw a crowd starting to form. Out of pure curiosity he went to see what was going on, he wasn't prepared for what he saw though. There in the middle of the crowd was his cousin getting beat by a small girl.

Of course he wasn't about to walk away from this, he was trying to be a good boy today but that was not going to happen now. Christian shoved everyone in front of him out of the way, and most of the younger ones moved when they saw who it was. Walking up to the fighting girls he cast a quick "Flipedo" to knock them back in order to separate them. Pointing his wand at the smaller girl, "Petrificus totalus" he said with an almost bored tone. "You should really be more careful choosing your beating victims." He said crouching down to look at her, he knew she wouldn't be able to answer but he didn't care. He stood back up then and walked over to his cousin and helped her off the ground gently. "You!" He called over to a boy standing in the crowd. "Take her to the infirmary please." The boy stepped forward hesitantly but eventually did as Christian asked him.

He then walked back over to the small girl. "I don't know who you are, who started this, or what happened, but I don't care. That one's mine leave her alone, understand." He said loud enough everyone else still near could hear so hopefully this news would spread and this wouldn't happen again. He started to walk away but then turned back around, "Oh and my name's Christian D'Angelo when you're telling the teachers later." He called over to her before pointing his wand at her once more. "Stupefy." He said simply, the last time he used that the bird was unconscious for an hour before he decided he was bored and woke it up. "You guys should probably get someone to wake her up eventually." He told the onlookers on his way back to the palace.

Just as Mabel was winning, things started going downhill. She was about to throw another punch when an older boy decided to break up the fight. What business did he have to break up the fight? Mabel was winning and she wanted to show the girl who was the boss! Another spell was thrown her way, one that she had never heard of, and she was unable to move. The boy had some nerve to pull such a dirty trick!

Mabel didn't care who this boy was, it was none of his business to break up the fight. She just wanted to be able to move again once more! The girl was the one to throw the first punch and Mabel wasn't about to just take it, so she fought back. She was winning up until then and at least she could fight her own battles. Neither her sister or cousin came to her defense, she wasn't sure if they were even there at that moment. But she could fight her own battles unlike that brat! Mabel wanted to glare and yell at the boy but she couldn't. Stupid jerk! Then another spell was cast and Mabel became unconscious.
