Blast From the Past

It had been more than a few months, which was how long her assignment was supposed to last, since Harley had even been anywhere near the Beauxbatons district. She had even barely even talked to her old friends, and only sent the occasional owl to Elijah confirming that, Yes, she was okay, and No, she was not dead, just very busy. Her assignment had been her first independent trip that the Ministry had given her as a way of acknowledging how fast she had been learning as an intern. It was even mentioned that perhaps she would hold an actual position in a year, maybe less.

Her mission took her all the way to Luxembourg for the recovery of a Forbbiden Book that burned the eyes of it's reader. It was a hellish task, having to track it down, then properly secure it and deliver it back to the Ministry herself. It took longer than expected also, totaling to nearly half a year before she returned, and now that she had, she wanted a firewhisky quite badly. Decidng that the best place to go to find a small line, yet quality place to sit and complain about how completely exhausted she was.

The first place that she thought of was the Weird Sister's Brew. It had a certain rustic quality she favoured, and barely anyone went down Whisper Alley. So she did. She took a seat the bar and closed her eyes out of weariness for a second and ordered a firewhisky before she heard her name being called and cracked open her eyes. Needless to say, she was surprised at who was standing in front of her. "Oh, Ryan. Long time no see, huh?"
