Nice Fall. Did You Enjoy Your Trip?

Cameron had decided to go on his own adventure and go order himself a butterbeer. He had never had one but knew that it was a popular wizarding drink and he just had to have one. Joy had given him some money and told him to meet her back at their table when he was done. He knew it wouldn't take long to order the drink then get back to his family. Since he was short, he could easily get past the taller students and adults. He just hoped he didn't get stepped on while weaving in and out of crowds. Finally, the bar came into view and he was about to approach the line-less spot until his face met the ground.

It all happened so fast that he didn't know what had caused him to suddenly fall. All he knew was that his nose hurt and he was sure that his face was going to be bruised. At least he wasn't bleeding. The boy couldn't stand the sight of blood and he would become ill if he saw a trace of it. Or smelled the nasty stench. He would never become a nurse or a doctor or any occupation that had to do with blood. He slowly picked his head off the ground with a groan and sat up. He looked around to see what could have caused his sudden fall.

One of the the things Harley had recently become obsessed (in a very unhealthy way) with, was coffee. Being from England, she was much more used to tea, as stereotypical as that sounded, and got most of her caffeine from that and fruits. When exams were looming over her head and studying was a must, Charlie and her had a study session, and that's when she learned about the magic of coffee. The next thing she learned was that La Petit carried the best coffee and even though it put her further into debt, she gladly bought it. This had lead to a sort of addiction, a vicious cycle really, and it was just about time for them to expect her in the pub, looking for the caffeine filled drink.

As soon as she entered, she realized that it was Thursday and barely anyone got coffee on Thursday, so the place was less packed than normal. Of course, that stopped no one from pushing their way through. A couple rudely shoved past her, making her stumble into a kid (first-year probably). "Oi! Watch it, lovebirds!" She shouted at them, trying to prevent the kid's face-to-face meeting with the ground with no avail. "Hey, kid! You okay? That was quite the spill. Sorry 'bout that, though. Damn couple knocked me over." Harley helped him up and smiled while dusting off anything that transferred from the dirty floor to him. "You don't look too bad. Face's a little red but nothing's broken."

Cameron looked up to see someone who looked a lot older than him but not as old as his brother or cousins. She began to apologize for his sudden fall amd how she had something to do with it. He couldn't have been mad even if he tried because he hardly was ever mad and usually forgave people. It wasn't her fault that she was knocked into, it was the fault of the couple that had knocked into her. "I'm fine," be said softly while trying to fix his hair back to its proper place. He was picky when it came to appearance and kept his hair and clothes a certain way.

It was nice of her to help him up and help him clean up. She could have just walked away and didn't do anything to help him. "Thanks," he grinned. He didn't want to see what his face looked like because he knew his face had to be red. "I'm Cameron."

Harley smiled as she watched the boy comb his hair back into place and straighten out his clothes after the nasty fall. "Well, that's good," she responded. She wasn't trying to be sarcastic. Really, if he had broken something, they would've been in trouble since Harley knew approximately nothing about healing magic. She had always been more offensive. "No problem, kid. I'm Harley." Grinning, she stuck out her hand and waited for him to shake it.

He looked like a typical first year, all wide eyed and amazed at everything Beauxbatons had to offer. "So. This your first year at our beloved school of magic?" She inquired. While waiting for his answer, she ordered herself a coffee and the kid a butter beer since that was what most people came here for.

His face was sore but he was indeed alive and for the most part well. Joy wasn't going to like the bruises that were going to form on his face but they were going to form anyways no matter what. Maybe she knew a spell to heal his face before the bruises came. He didnt really mind if he did have bruises or not. But Joy would freak out over it and he was certain she'd try to get as many answers out of him as he could manage. He grinned brightly at her.

He covered the left side of his face with his hand and listened to her question. "Yeah," he said softly. "My brother went there and now he's a grown up." He strived to be like him in certain ways.

Harley leaned her head back and laughed. She liked this kid. He was tough, but he was also sweet. Kinda like Ryan. "Can I call you Cam? Well, Cam, you're gonna love it here. The people are great, and the food's definitely not too shabby. Even the teachers are pretty chill. Plus, when you're here, your friends and your House become your family, and basically it's just great here." Hopefully this kid would become the latest member of Montagnard. The last one to join was now a fourth year since everyone had been landing in either Feu or Nuage.

Finally, the waiter came over with her steaming (her motto was 'the hotter the better') cup of coffee and the kids iced butter beer. The name made it sound kinda weird, but it was one of her all time favourite drinks. "There you go, kid. Try it."
