Meet the Shopkeeper

As you walk between towering stacks of books, you come to a lone desk in the mess of it all. A single lamp shines on the paper mangled working space where the greying dark curly-top head of a man faces you as he clicks away on the type writer.

This is Terrance Folds, shopkeeper of Jaded Pages for thirty plus years now. He was once an aspiring author though burdened with a curse to drawl on with his writings, producing pieces of magnificent vocabulary and an uncanny skill for lulling readers to sleep. This caused his career to fail and landed him his job in Jaded Pages.

Terrance is a shy, though educated man, who is sullen in appearance and wears mainly black. If you so happen to spark conversation with him, you'd most likely be enlightened with the histories of his many favourite authors, learning everything from their birthplace, to the name of the three-legged dog they owned when they were a mere child, everything you wanted to know and more. However, he has a passion for his job and though he may be boring, he knows exactly what he is doing.
