Fabre's wands was established in the early 20th century by Darcy Fabre, a fine French wand-maker, and has flourished since then with a reputation for being the top wand shop for young wizards and witches who are seeking out their first wands.

Ophelie Knobbs is a descent of the late Darcy Fabre and inheritor of the shop. For many years, Ophelie and her husband, Fergus Knobbs, have been upholding Fabre's legacy for producing some of the finest wands in France.

Ophelie is forgetful, a tad bit disorganized and easily flustered elder woman, though always has a steady hand when it is required
