Charm and Grace is set many, many years after the Harry Potter series. For the most part students don't know about the war that happened in England, nor do they know much about the characters of Harry Potter unless they are talking about history. Beauxbatons allows females and males, unlike the franchise's movies, and students start at the age of eleven.
