Polar Opposites Empty Polar Opposites

Louise had wanted to explore the grounds a little bit. It was obvious that her that her sister didn't really want her around. So she decided to explore on her own. She decided that this would be the perfect spot, no one to tell her that she couldn't be here. or that she wouldn't be able to do. She sighed and sat down. "Hmm...what to do...' She looked around and suddenly heard a noise. She looked up and saw a boy a little bit older than her . He seemed more on the Goth side but that didn't bother her. She shrugged and got up and skipped over to him.

"Hiya!" She spoke cheerfully to the boy. "I'm Lucy!" She giggled a little bit. He seemed surprised by her, but she didn't care. She wanted him to be her friend. "So! What are you a second year? Third year? You must be! Oh that's so cool!" She exclaimed jumping to conclusions. "What's your name! Is it something cute? It'd be nice to have a cute name under that hard exterior, wouldn't it?" She chuckled and looked at his arms. "Oh! You should be on the Quidditch team! You're arms are so big!!! Wow!!!" She exclaimed her eyes growing large.

Polar Opposites Empty Re: Polar Opposites

The dream Osmund had last night hadn't been too different from the ones he had had during the summer and a few times after the new term started. Every dream had included him and Xavior and were equally as confusing. The things that happened were things he had never really thought about in depth and it bothered him that now that he was dreaming such things that he was thinking about it more often. It made something as simple as being around his best friend all the more complicated and Osmund hated every moment of it. Because of those dreams, he opted to stay away from his room that he shared with Xavior and spend more time alone, walking on the grounds.

He was lost in thought, recalling a bit about the dream when suddenly his path was blocked by a midget. "What?" He said, unimpressed before the girl could speak. He raised an eyebrow as a spurt of giggles erupted from her mouth. Ew, cheerfulness! How gross!

Upon the first few sounds that came from the girl's mouth, Osmund had determined that he didn't like her, but she was losing her chances of friendship by the moment as she called him a second year, or a third year. "Fourth year," He growled. Fucking first years.

It was when she started asking his name, saying that it must be cute that Osmund knew he had to get out of there before that overly cute, chock full of rainbows and sparkles girl went psycho and bite off his head or something. He was sure he had seen that in a horror film that some cute little girl was a murderer or something. Yeah, that sounded just about right and if he were wrong, he knew at least that this little sunshine girl was really starting to freak him out. He started to walk away, not saying a word or answering any of her questions. If he ignored her, she'd go away, he was sure.

When he responded to her about being a fourth year, her eyes widened even bigger. He probably thought that they were going to pop out of her head. "Wow!!! You're a fourth year! That's Fantastic! You're in the same year as my sister! Omigosh!" she giggled brightly. But her parade was rained on when he started walking away. "HEY!" She yelled and ran and jumped in front of him. "You didn't answer my questions silly!!" She laughed excitedly. It was almost as if rainbows, unicorns, and sunshine sort of aura fell off of her. She looked at his face and saw his frown. "Hey Mr. Doom & Gloom! It's okay! You know what you do when your sad." She giggled and knelt down and started to say "Staaaaaart.....cheeeering.....", she finished it off with the last word "UP!" and popped up like a cheerleader and smiled brightly. She wanted to make him smile because he seemed like he was having a bad day! The words she said explained everything she wanted him to do.

She seemed more like a madwoman than an actual kind first year. The smile she wore on her face seemed overly large and stamped on, like she was a person punished for not smiling enough and was now forced to make the world happy. He didn't know what she was, but he did know he was rather frightened by her in an unexplainable way.

Apparently she was someone in his year's sister, but Osmund didn't care much to find out who. He wasn't exactly pals with any of the girls in his year and even if he was friends with her sister, it wouldn't make him like this girl anymore. She was just too bubbly for her own good and he wanted to get out of there pronto.

His path was soon blocked again by the girl as she had run after him, claiming that he hadn't answered any of her questions. His eyes sort of light up with fear as he hadn't imagined escape to be that hard and suddenly she was asking him to cheer up in the most neurotic way possible and he literally thought that he was just having a bad dream right then and there. Hell, he'd take one of those awkward dreams about Xavior over this any day. It was then that he did something he hardly done before and much despised to do; run.

He was sure she would chase after him, but with luck, quidditch practices would keep him fit enough to outrun her. He bounded back towards the school, determined to run all the way back into his little hole that was called his room, if he needed to.
