Term 24 Quidditch Tryouts

It was that time of year again, the beginning of a new year at Beauxbatons meaning it was once again time for quidditch tryouts. This was one of the professor's favorite times to be the flying instructor, however it could also be very stressful to choose students for the teams. However she was always able to decide in the end and she just loved the happy looks on the students faces when they flew around the pitch and you could always see that moment when each one of them finally got some confidence in their tryout performance.

Professor Bowen walked out onto the quidditch pitch to see a group of excited students standing in the center, some scared looking and others confident. She stood in the middle and quickly got everyones attention, "Alright everyone welcome to this year's Quidditch Tryouts." She said loud enough for everyone to hear her. "You will be notified when the tryout results are in." She told them all slowly to be sure they all understood. "Alright so with that let's get started and yes you may tryout for more than one position." She finished before starting the tryouts.

OOC:
-To tryout post only once for each position you wish to tryout for.
-You are to post strictly in character and write a one shot of your character going through their turn.
-Please pay attention to order when posting, for instance if you are trying out for seeker make sure to note that they had to wait till the end to take their turn.
-Be sure to give enough detail in the post to help the Ministers make an accurate decision about who to pick.
-Look at the Quidditch Team sticky to see what positions are open. There is only one Seeker and one Keeper. If those positions are filled on your team, you cannot tryout for that position.
-REMEMBER: If you are in Cerisier or Nuage, you are trying out for Casavant. If you are Feu or Montagnard, you are trying out for Oullett.
-Games will not be played out until further notice, but information about the season's winners will be sent via PM to you from your captain or a minister.
-Message the Ministers or your house's captain with any questions

Garnet had been saying that she wanted to try out for quidditch for that seemed like forever. But she had never gotten around to it. She was either too lazy or missed the deadline. Or she didn't want to do it. She kept saying she was gonna do it the year after and she had been saying it for a while now. But finally this would be the year, only because Anthony had said something to her about it and she didn't want to disappoint him. Though they wouldn't be on the same team. It would be kind of cool to go against his team, she would be able to rub it in his face that her team won and that they were better than his team.

There were a lot of others trying out but she knew that she was going to get a spot on the team, she just knew. She was good, she knew that. She was confident, she believed in herself. Her stomach was doing flips though, she couldn't help but be a bit nervous. She didn't show it though, she wouldn't let anyone know she was. She knew that Anthony was there and that he would be watching. She ran her hand through her hair in order to get some of the tangles out. She didn't want to embarrass herself in any way.

She waited for what seemed like forever before it was her turn and it was time for her to show what she had. She was trying out for the beater position, it was like it was made for her. She was going to be the best like no one ever was. She climbed onto her broom and set for the sky. It didn't take long for bludgers to come flying towards her, she gripped her bat tightly and swung with all her might. The first one ended up going in a completely different direction than she had planned and the second had done what she wanted but it could have been better.

After a while of hitting bludgers, her time was finally up and she made her way back to the ground. She looked around to see if Anthony had been watching her. She hoped he had and he had seen how well she had done.
