Whatever the Title

Now books were normal. Nothing like the bank or the wand or the strange drinks with strange names. Books Andrea understood. Her cousin was forever reading them. Andrea only read them under obligation or from urging by Dominick to broaden her horizons, whatever that meant. But they were normal. You open them and read them. No need to try and understand what they were.

Mr. Smith handed her the list of books she'd need and that was when things took a strange turn. The titles and subjects they were for reminded her that this wasn't a normal school. Still, despite the titles, they were normal books. And she didn't fight the order to find them for herself. She had this. She could do this. Then she stopped and stared at the list. There was a music class? How unmagical was that? She glanced back at Mr. Smith but he was too busy making small talk with Aunt Lisa.

Well she would have to ask him about that class later. Right now she had a book list to fill. The potions book was easy to find but Andrea was stuck on the next one on her list. "What's Herbology?" she asked herself and frowned down at it. Potions she'd guessed was that cauldron thing witches in storybooks did but this herbology thing was mind boggling. Something to do with herbs but how much did you need to learn about herbs?
