Walking Around the Willow

Cameron had been so busy with school work that he was having a hard time keeping up with his social life. Or lack of. His nose was always in a book and he hadn't heard the latest gossip from anyone or about anyone. He had been trying to get back to where he had once been and once he had managed to get to back he where he was, he started to go farther than he had been. There was a point where he had to stop or else he would get very sick for stressing himself out so much. He had taken a few breaks from studying and refused to look ahead in his classes. It was no good for him and he couldn't put himself into a situation that would make him ill.

He had finished his homework and was ready to relax. So he invited Isobel to join in on a walk around the grounds. He was happy when she agreed to meet up with him.

Isobel was ready to be done be done with this term. It was almost painful to stay at school. She had lost another Quidditch Cup, her relationships were straining and she was just going through the motions of pretty much everything. It was class, sleep, eat, and repeat. She didn't give herself any time to be sad or otherwise.

She been successful in ignoring most everyone until Cameron asked her to hang out with him. Her immediate answer was a smile and a yes, even though she consciously did not want to do anything with anyone.

Isobel smiled as soon as she saw him. "Hi," she said breathlessly, forgetting about whatever she had been worrying about. It was just her and Cameron. That was what mattered at the moment. "How are you? What's new?" she asked, raising her eyebrows.
