Snow Day

With the trees having changed colors and leaves fallen to the ground, it was only a matter of time before the sky starting to let snowflakes fall rather than raindrops. Self-proclaimed adventurer, Persephone Grimm, had been looking forward to that day for awhile now. Though she enjoyed playing in the leaves, she was ready to switch her games to ones revolving around snow. Namely, the girl just wanted to have a good ol' fashioned snowball fight like she always had with her muggle friends back home.

It had been almost torture waiting for it to come, but the day that she had woken to find the corridors colder than usual only to dash to the nearest window to see the world outside turned into a bowl of vanilla pudding, the girl was ecstatic. She immediately dressed, topping off her snow-appropraite outfit with a furry wolf-eared hat, and then made her way outdoors.

She hadn't thought to have asked anyone to accompany her there, in the height of her excitement. However, Percy found that no matter where she was, she could always find people to play with and, surely enough, she could spot a few stragglers on the snowy grounds, just asking to be hit with a snowball. She kneeled and grabbed a handful of snow, molding it into an adequate snowball and with a rather loud shout of "Bombs away!" Let the iced-over ball of water fly in hopes of hitting someone.

Snow was one of those things that Christian had very mixed feelings about. Sometimes he thought it was the best and coolest thing around but then there were times when he wished it would just melt and go away already. Today he was sorta stuck in the middle of that he didn't hate it but he wasn't exactly thrilled it was there for it made the whole palace cold everywhere. Even the Casavant common room was cold one had to sit rather close to the fire to stay warm. He wasn't the only who knew how to keep warm since he was pretty sure there were twenty or more people crowded around the fire. Finally he got tired of being squished into the wall so he went to his dorm and dressed in some warm clothes to go outside for awhile, it couldn't be worse than inside. As soon as he walked up all the stairs and appeared at the top of the tree on the top of the stairs going down he could see a large blanket of snow over everything.

He went down and started walking to the palace loving the way his feet crunched with every step and that with the snow being so fresh his foot prints showed on the snow quite clearly. About halfway to the palace he heard someone yell something that sounded like 'bombs away' and suddenly he had a large amount of snow hit him in the ear. "Oi! That's cold!" He yelled before bending down to ball up his own snowball quickly spotting the young girl who must have hit him, he felt kind of guilty since she seemed to be younger than him but he got over it. "You asked for this!" He yelled to her before chucking the ball of snow at her.

Her green eyes tracked the ball of snow, as it rose into the air and then collided with another student. Persephone let out a cheer with her success and ducked down to grab more snow to throw. This was the beginning of a brilliant snow fight.

Through giggles and while forming a new snowball, Persephone replied, humored with the boy's comment, "Duh! It's snow!" She was worried for a moment that the boy, looking unfamiliar and no doubt an older student, would brush off the declaration of a good fight to go about his duties, until she saw him form a snowball of his own and send it back to her.

The snow collided with her arm and burst into a pattern of white on her coat. Percy laughed and brushed off some of the powder before letting the ball of snow she collected from before fly back over towards the boy. "The fight is on!" She called, nearly tripping in the snow as she ran to collect more snow.
