Realistic Fiction Empty Realistic Fiction

The thing about realistic fiction is that it could potentially happen to you, or in a sense already has. This day, Aurora found herself in the bookstore, looking for a new book to read. She didn't find much time to read, but when she did, she usually finished the book in a matter of a few hours. She felt a small tear roll down her cheek as she finished the books last page. The story portrayed a young princess who was separated from her family at a young age and had to live on her own in the forest with her trusty horse. After months of trying to find her way home, the guards eventually find her and bring her back to the castle, but she arrives to find that her mother is gone and all that is left is father.

Aurora felt her heart get heavy in her chest. It sounded just like her, like the book was meant for her, like someone had just taken a quick sneak peek into the life of Aurora Smith and published it..but no matter, it was only fiction, it couldn't happen, but the thing is that it could and had happened, which is what made it real. A funny subject, but nonetheless still a serious one. Ah the beauties of realistic fiction.
