Aurora watched out the window of her living room as the soft white dots clouded the gray sky, she rested her chin on her hand and sighed. 'What was the winter like somewhere else?' She wondered and sighed a little. 'Somewhere else...like New York..' She bit her lip and shut her eyes. Was her mom thinking about her today? Theories said that if you stared at a star at night and were thinking about a person that they were thinking about you as well. She wanted to believe that it was true. Though her dads told her that it was impossible, she ignored the facts and decided to live in that fantasy. "I miss you mama..." She whispered under her breath and let a tear slip and wiped it away. "Sorry, I know crying is dumb...but I wish I could see you.."
