Do You Wanna Dance, Do You Wanna Fight? Empty Do You Wanna Dance, Do You Wanna Fight?

Tripping over the furniture in her room due to the spell Rosalie casted on her had hardly hurt compared to much of the pain Marceline experienced in life. At most, it left her with some bumps and bruises. Nothing a tough girl like herself couldn't handle. What really irked her was how her essay was in pieces on the ground when Rosalie left and how her favorite doll was no longer playing her game. She'd make her pay, Marceline had promised, and after a few days of silent plotting, she created the perfect plan of revenge.

In order to really damage someone, one first had to analyze the victim to find what would most bother them. For Rosalie, the immediate answer was the dumb red-haired German boy she was nearly always around. However, the only way she could use him was to date him and the whole plan would take so horribly long and she wanted something immediate. Then, it hit her. Of course! A pretty girl like Rosalie was definitely concerned about keeping up her appearance, more specifically, her long, soft hair. Marceline grinned at how deliciously simple and effective it would be. Hair was so easy to mess with.

A pair of scissors in her hand, the short haired girl remained hidden behind the bookshelves. She waited for her prey who she knew was coming to do studying. She had overheard her say something about it earlier that day. It had been a full twenty minutes before Marceline caught sight of Rosalie and quickly hide. All she needed to do was get close up behind her, but first she had to wait for Rosalie to stop moving.

Rosalie had taken a quick trip the library to get some study materials. The end of the term was coming up and she wanted to be prepared for them. Her long brown hair hung behind her in her natural pretty waves. She hadn't done much to it on this day, just because it was a study day. Thanking the librarian, she walked and sat down in one big comfy chairs and opened the book. Moving her finger down the page, she began to study the book thoroughly and wasn't paying attention to anything, or anyone around her.

As she progressed through the book, she sighed. She didn't want to have to study, what child would, but she knew that she had to keep her grades up to be able to stay at this school. That was only way she could have her normal life and be herself in some form.

Soon enough, the long haired girl took a seat and cracked open a book. Marceline grinned as she pulled out the scissors from her bag and held them in front of her like a weapon. This was going to be so easy. She just had to wait a few moments for Rosalie to get really involved in her reading, for her prey to lose her senses within the reading so that she won't suspect a thing.

Marceline stared down her victim with intensity, paying no mind to the others within the library. She supposed she should've made sure there were no witnesses, but it was too late for that then. This was the perfect moment Marceline decided, as she rose to her feet and made her way over. She tip-toed over and then extended a hand. This was the part where she had to be quick before Rosalie noticed. It would have been ideal if Rosalie was wearing a ponytail, but that was a factor Marceline had no control over. She quickly collected Rosalie's hair with one hand, and then with the other, bearing the scissors spread between her opened fingers, she moved in and with a single gesture, produced a sniping noise and the hair came lose.

She had taken care to make the surprise haircut short, just shy of being as short as her own, and grinned as she held the long locks within her other hand. No doubt Rosalie was moments away from turning around in shock and disgust. Marceline dropped the scissors and then grabbed Rosalie's head with enough force to keep her looking forward. "Maybe next time you'll think before betraying me, sweetie," Marceline whispered into her ear.

Rosalie had just been studying silently, skimming over each ingredient needed for the invisibility potion. It was quite interesting in actuality. The potion was simple and allowed the taster to be invisible for a certain amount of time depending on how much he or she drank. In the midst of her studies, Rosalie felt a tug on her hair but suddenly her long locks were pulled back in harsh grip and she heard the unfriendly sound of a snip. Her eyes widened in disbelief as her now short hair fell just barely to her shoulders. She started to turn, but her head was held forward and she heard the crude words come from a person she knew all too well. Marceline. When the hand was gone from her head she turned, tears in her eyes. She lightly touched the freshly cut hair and screamed loudly. Since it was the library this drew the attention of many people.

Rosalie couldn't believe what had just happened. She was upset and pissed at the same time. Betrayed her? She had just gotten fed up with her slave. What gave her the right to do this. Shaking her head she quickly gathered up her things and ran out of the library, being followed by a couple of the adults. She felt hot tears rolling down her cheeks. Her hair was now gone and it was all because she wanted some stupid revenge. It was stupid.

After talking to a couple of the adults for a bit, she wouldn't give up the name of the girl who had done this to her. This was her fight. Not the schools, but they had been able to help a little by taking her to one of the potions teachers, who quickly whipped up something for her hair, telling her it would take about a week before it would regain its original length. However in the meantime, she'd find a way to make Marceline pay.

The reaction she received from Rosalie was delicious! As she had assumed, Rosalie was rather fond of her long locks, and though her response was delayed by disbelief, it was better than Marceline could have ever hoped. Rosalie actually screamed upon realizing her new hair length! Marceline couldn't help but laugh out loud as she watched the girl frantically gather her books and run from the library, as if her face had been turned into that of a toads and she was a hideous sight to see.

"What?" Marceline uttered to the crowd that gathered. "I don't know what her problem was," She claimed, cooly and crossed her arms. She turned away from the scene, placing her sheers back into her back and dropping the hair she cut into a waste basket as she left. "It's her own fault for being so goddamn superficial," She muttered to herself. That surely taught her an important lesson.
