Lonely Boy

Things were starting to get boring for Gus, he didn't have many friends and they all seemed too busy to hang out with him. August found himself thinking about what had happened this year and his year had been pretty uneventful. He had a fight with his friend and now they weren't speaking. Maybe it was a bad idea to stand up for himself. But if he didn't, then Fane would have gotten away with being mean. It was alright to be honest, but there was a difference between honest and mean.

He entered an empty classroom and loneliness had sunk in. He had been so alone all year. Instead of sitting at an empty desk, he sat on the floor. Was he unlikable? He leaned against the wall and closed his eyes. Where were friends when you needed them? Did he even have any friends? He was feeling low about himself and he frowned. It was like a dark cloud above his head and Gus just wanted to cry.

Rene really had no friends besides Fiona. It was true to say Rene was kind of a closed off person, but it'd be nice to have people who actually wanted to hangout with him all the time. Nevertheless, Rene had his journal and was planning to rant in it about how little friends he actually had when he walked into the classroom he knew to be empty. He had not been expecting to see a fellow third year in the empty room. Especially one who looked about as depressed as Rene felt. He knew this boy he was sure of it. He thought he knew him from transfiguration, but he wasn't sure. Regardless, he sat down besides the boy. "You okay?"
