Research Techniques

This pub was not Linette's usual type of place but she had a reason for visiting the place. She needed inspiration for new ideas for both SOP club meetings and articles. The moment she entered though she knew she'd made a big mistake. The few who were there turned to stare at the sixteen year old but then quickly turned back to whatever it was they were drinking. The memory of the looks thrown her way remained with the girl. Should she ignore the previously pointed looks which suggested they were saying 'you don't belong' or should she just push on in anyway for the sake of research.

Linette decided on the later course of action. She was going into the sixth year at Beauxbatons and that was practically grown up. Already she'd settled on a future career in journalism. This would be a perfect training ground to show whether or not she was up to the reporter's life of stepping into danger. She smiled to herself as she stepped further into the pub and nearly jumped when she felt a tap on her shoulder. The witch turned around to see who'd tapped her. In her mind she pictured an old wizard with missing teeth.
