Making Friends in a Weird Way Empty Making Friends in a Weird Way

Teddy had been keeping a low profile at school, he didn't want to do anything that could cause him to be picked out from a crowd. Of course his hair wouldn't help him in in way but he wasn't going to stop dying his hair wacky colors. He didn't want to be picked out because of his actions, because he was bad. He didn't want to act out like he had in the past, he was a new person. At least he kept telling himself that. Old habits die hard. He was having trouble with some of the things he used to do but for the most part he was doing good. Part of him was afraid that he was going to embarrass his mother in some way, But he knew that would never be the case and that his mom would be proud of him no matter what.

He got along with the people he knew and there was no one that he didn't like. Actually there was one person, the guy just rubbed him the wrong way. He didn't seem like a good person so Teddy avoided having to go near him at all costs. It wasn't so hard to do since they weren't in the same house nor were they in the same year. The boy was older and from what the second year could tell, he thought he was better than everyone else. Which wasn't cool. It wasn't very nice to assume things about people but it was just a gut feeling the boy had deep down. He just couldn't place a finger on why he didn't trust the guy, but he just didn't.

As if on a cue, the boy stuck out his foot to trip a young first year. "Hey!" Teddy yelled out before he could stop himself. Well there went stopping himself from being noticed by anyone. "That wasn't cool!" He walked straight up to the boy and crossed his arms. "Aren't you going to apologize?"

Making Friends in a Weird Way Empty Re: Making Friends in a Weird Way

Jonas was glad that it was finally the weekend. And he was glad that he could spend this weekend on the grounds of the palace relaxing instead of wandering into Cheval or doing endless amounts of homework. So he and Parker planned to hang out at the courtyard after lunch (apparently Parker had plans with someone during).

Jonas was headed out to the fountain when he randomly stumbled. He didn't fall, but he was still embarrassed. Even more so when he saw that his best friend was tied to the action. Jonas glared at him before cracking a smile. "Don't do that again," he said, as sternly as he could. He couldn't be too mad at his friend. It was like he never could be, even when Parker did sommething serious enough to earn Jonas' anger.

Jonas wasn't angry, but apparently someone else was. There was suddenly another student shouting at the pair. Well, apparently just Parker, as his next question was directed at just him.

Jonas was suddenly nervous. "It's okay. It was just a joke. He was trying to get my attention," the third year insisted very quietly, hoping he wouldn't get shouted at, too. Conflict was not Jonas' department and it made him jumpy. There was something about it that made him want to run away.

Making Friends in a Weird Way Empty Re: Making Friends in a Weird Way

Parker had a weird friendship with Jonas, he was strangely nice to the boy. He was mean to just about everyone but he went out of his way to be nice to the guy. It wasn't just because they were roommates though, it was something else. He couldn't put his finger on it, but Jonas seemed to make him a better person. He didn't know how, it just seemed to happen. But he couldn't let anyone know there was a softer side to him or else that would ruin his image. He was supposed to be this tough ass bad boy but when he was around Jonas, his image seemed to fade. He didn't mind too much because this boy just seemed to make everything okay.

His relationship with Jonas was hard to explain to someone that wasn't them. He didn't think anyone could understand their inside jokes or how they play fought. Instead of telling his friend where he was like a normal person, he stuck his foot out when he saw his friend coming. He clapped his hands together and let out a long laugh. "Your face is priceless!"

Soon enough though, someone was yelling at Parker. The third year rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. This boy had a lot of nerve and courage to yell at him. Didn't he know who he was? He was sure that everyone knew who he was. "Excuse you? Do you know who you're talking to?" he growled. If the boy wanted a fight then Parker would give him one. "How about you just go back to what you were doing and mind your own god damn business?"

Max was nervous. Mostly nervous for final exams, but there were some other things, too. So instead of fidgeting in his room, he decided to fidget outside. Because if he was going to be stressed out, he might as well do it in a location where he could be healthy.

Max was pacing around the courtyard when he heard yelling. He ran to the source of the sounds and saw three kids. Two looked like they were about to start swinging. He rushed over to them. "Hey! Please don't fight!" he said frantically.
