If it was one thing that she had learnt as she had grown up through the years was that nice never seemed to get anyone really anywhere. Of course she was not at all disrespectful or mean but, as she had grown so had her curiosity and competitiveness that she had clung onto so desperately. After all, those aspects of herself revolved more around her family, it was traits that seemed to always lead to new opportunities and lead mostly to fun and adventures. Also, through the years she had found fun not only in the wisdom and history of the magic, the magic itself and purely the fun ways that witches and wizards found that expressing themselves for fun with the magic, leading herself to obviously love flying and everything to do with Quidditch. It was madness that only a few years ago she had no recollection of anything to do with the wizarding society not even the knowledge that it existed.

Therefore, Teddy was determined not for anyone else, but for herself. She wanted not to let anything pass her by. She wanted to be able to use her time wisely and not waste a second of the magic. Grabbing her broom in which, she obviously felt bad for having. As her family did not have much but, having been given the present for her birthday she was entirely grateful. Her hands gripping the broom tightly as she mounted the broom, shooting herself into the bright sky. The wind in her hair was a unreplaceable feeling, one that could not be compared to anything else. A smile on her face as she soared the pitch a little.

Her gaze falling onto a familiar boy, one she recognised clearly from her classes but also from a few previous meetings. It was true that she had not really spoken to the lad much but, in Teddy's eyes that was to be taken for granted. Her smirk spreading as she soared a little further down so she was easily in sight for the lad as she exhaled a small chuckle. "You think its wise to eagerly walk onto a pitch where some may not be able to so easily stop?” she raised her eyebrow in a teasing little manor before she only smirked a little more. Running a hand through her hair she chuckled under her breath “So Montagnard…. You up for a game?” she hinted towards the box of quaffles and such various balls. “But…. If you lose I get to….. put you in a dress and you have to stay in it for a full day” she compromised off the top of her head. Her mysterious grin spreading from ear to ear.

With his sparkling new position on the Quidditch team, Osmund had sent out yet another one of his letter's to his father in hopes of a response. Much unlike how in his first year, when his letters were frequent and all left responded, in his third year, he had grown weary of hoping for a little simple love and his letters became less frequent. However, when he had unexpectedly been given the title of Team Captain, he knew it was worth a shot. The victory of the first response he had ever received from his father was better than the feeling of getting on the team and with the enclosed gift of a new broomstick, Osmund knew he had to do well to not let his father down, which meant he needed to practice more.

The Montagnard headed down to the pitch for the third time that week, still trying to get used to the new speed of the Firebolt compared to the puttingly slow speed of the school broomsticks. He had been hoping to knock around some bludgers at some decoys to work on his aim while flying, but destiny called him otherwise. He was not alone on the Quidditch pitch.

Fear only visited him for a moment as his presence there was questioned when he thought that the owner of the voice was potentially an older student. However, further looking and the cheshire grin that filled the speaker's face told him it was just Teddy. She was quite unusual, he'd give her that, but if she was here to hug him again, he'd surely make it seem like an accident that the bludger hit her rather than the dummy instead. "What is it that you want?" He asked in a manner that showed he wasn't going to compromise to make her feel comfortable. He scoffed at her challenge, finding that accepting would only be puerile. "No thanks, you'll only find that I look stunning in a dress," He replied, snarkily. He needed more motivation than that to play her little game. Perhaps something that he would gain from winning the game. "Plus I'm a beater, not a chaser."

Teddy was used to people trying at the least to be intimidating. After all, she was from a big family to start with. Her smile irremovable as it only kept spreading. Her eyes beaming down to the lad. She could not help her self as she simply chuckled through her lips as she had to stop herself as she shrugged to his first question. “Me? I don’t really want anything. How about you? Do you want something? But… I do want to fly a bit… and see you in a dress” she rambled slightly, her words rolling off her tongue with ease as she showed no attempt to stop or hold them back. “So on the contrary that is what I want.” She played with her words a little more, something she had grown fond of doing as she found it made some people irritated, frustrated or simply confused. The emotions Teddy found quite funny to witness.

Another chuckle escaping her lips as she smirked even more to his comment “Wow, I know you would! That is why I really want you to lose” her tone one of play yet also one of being quite serious even thought being serious was not quite her intention. Dancing a hand through her long dark hair once more as the wind blew she shrugged once more to herself more than to Osmund. “Well it takes a real man to get out of his comfort zone. But if a cowards life is for you then please yourself. But, you will not extend your skills and experiences if you go by tradition and what others dictate to being normal.” Her words yet still played with in a way, somehow in her own mind were ones of true honesty. As she knew perfectly well that things were not simply handed to people throughout life therefore she knew that she would have to be stretched to her full ability and placed outside her comfort zone at times to get things. Even though, the message that she was telling the boy through her little riddles was clear in Teddy’s mind, she guessed the fact of wearing a dress overpowered that. “Yet again…. You may want to be a coward…. As long as your willing to go by the name of Chicken Charlie for the rest of your time at Beauxbatons?”

“That doesn’t matter. I prefer being a seeker than a chaser but practising flying and quidditch all together should be top priority. Should it not?”

Teddy was proving to be wordy, just like Linette. But unlike Linette, Teddy was confusing. Linette just sort of went on tangents about a certain subject whereas with Teddy, he was often not sure about what subject they were on. This was no odd occasion that what started off with him asking why she had called to him had suddenly changed to her wanting to see him in a dress. Osmund rolled his eyes. Girls were so strange and really were starting to scare him.

He thought if he showed no fear in the threat of being put in a dress, she'd lose interest, but contrary wise, she persisted. He didn't understand what it was about a boy in a dress that made people go so crazy. In all honesty it was just clothing and though he'd prefer the sanctuary of pants over the rather breezy skirts, he found nothing particularly gender specific about clothing. Hell, he'd put on a dress right then and there if it meant Teddy would let him be in peace.

"Chicken Charlie isn't relatively close to my name," He stated, in return. He thought the point of insults was to play on someone's name to make it seem twisted and hit a personal spot. Osmund had been called a lot of unpleasant things since he had started attending school, usually in retaliation for his frustratingly cold personality. "You still haven't answered my question." Osmund pointed out. "You can call me whatever you want if I choose to back down, but I won't accept unless I know what I obtain from winning." He then smoothed at his hair cooly. "What will you do if I win?"

The boy was not going to give in. Not that she had at all expected him to after all, Teddy had rushed into giving him a hug on one occasion and he was pretty stubborn and reluctant about that. Her eyebrow raised ever so slightly as she chuckled under her breath. Flicking her hand through her hair once more to get it out of her eyes as she swayed slightly on her broom before she looked down to the boy. His stubbornness and negative attitude defiantly was something that instantly got Teddy hooked; straight away in fact. Despite the fact that she couldn’t really care less if he was to actually be put in a dress or not as, frankly she couldn’t really give a damn. It was only clothing. But, the fact that Osmund refused to go along with it, only was instinct for the thirteen year old girl to tease the lad.

Shrugging to his comment, an unstoppable chuckle escaping her lips as they firmly stayed in their usual smirking manner. “Very true” she gave him that. And that alone as she exhaled and calmly continued “But does that matter?” she raised her eyebrow to the boy as her eyes constantly peeped downwards with ease. As, her little name for the boy was not exactly what she would class as an insult, as she had thought of it only in a matter of seconds and having said it more rambling out loud but, all the same she found fun names for people were a lot better in her books than picking on people for how they acted or something like that.

Humming slightly through her teeth as she chuckled once more as she shrugged “Do you need my help with that?” she teased once more however that comment said more in a playful tone. “Oh. So I tell you when is a croquet mallet like a billy club?”

She kept flicking her hair aside and grinning that taunting grin and it was bothering Osmund. He wished she would be direct and get to the point instead of babble on in her mysterious ways. He wasn't going to give in to her little game unless he wanted to and so far, she wasn't being very convincing. Sure, it'd be nice to get some practice flying for the next quidditch match, but he'd rather fly with someone who wasn't about to drive him bonkers.

He shook his head in response to her offer. An answer to a riddle, or something like that. He wasn't sure what she even meant with croquet mallets and billy clubs. "How about you tell me something that I actually care about?" He replied, snarkily. He wanted the bet to be balanced and in order to be balanced, it had to contain something for him to gain that he cared about or something that was moderately amusing. He looked back to her long hair that she kept flicking like a snake flicking it's tongue.

"Alright, you win and I wear a stupid dress. But if I win, you cut those pretty long locks of yours," He grinned as he said it, wondering just how attached she was to her physical appearance. He then flipped his broom from his shoulder to wear he could mount it and took to the air so she could stop looking down on him. "Shake on it?" He asked, offering out his hand.
