Changing of the Guard

It was supply time for her small collection of pets. Two pets. An owl and a cat. They were easy enough to buy for. There was no denying that and she had thought which would be required was going in finding the food and litter and going out again. Then swing around to the bookshop to stock up on fresh reading material. That,however, was not to be. Instead she was hit with a shop rearrangement.

Owls were on display where she used to buy the kitty litter. The toads were were the cat food used to be and quite frankly looked a little too close to the owls for there to be much comfort for them. The owl treats were nowhere in sight.

Linette put her hands on her hips and stared at the rats in place of where the owl treats used to be. "This is not right. Who would move everything around when it was perfect the way it was? It's not like changing posters. You! Did you see where they put everything which is not an actual animal?"
