Chocolate For the Soul

It was now a thing for Ruby to come into the pub and order a drink and look for a friend. She had met her best friend like that and she wanted to meet tons more friends like that. She had met two girls last year and maybe this year she'd meet someone else too. She ordered herself some pumpkin juice and chocolate mousse. She loved chocolate and had shared one with her friend, she liked to think it was their dessert now. Once her order was ready, she carefully walked to a free table.

She sat down and started to eat her dessert. A smile spread across her lips, it was so yummy. She felt for the person who wasn't able to have chocolate. For it was the best thing ever created. Well, besides the toys her papa made.

Nathan liked to think that the pub was the best place to meet people and apparently it was a good place to spill butterbeer on people as he had done that twice the last time he was in here. He wasn't sure if he wanted to order one this time or not he didn't want to risk spilling it on someone but then again he did love the taste of it very much.He went ahead and ordered one anyone hoping he could actually drink it this time and not spill it on some poor insistent person walking by.


Once he got the butterbeer he scanned the room for someone sitting by themselves they were always up to talk. Right as he was approaching the table he tripped on his untied shoe and the mug fell to the ground splashing up onto the girls shoes. "Oh my gosh I am so very sorry this isn't the first time I was hoping it would be the last let me get you some napkins im so sorry fair maiden."

The chocolate mousse was such a sweet treat and Ruby was enjoying herself until she felt a sticky liquid on her shoes. She let out a squeal and stood up, her poor boots! Of course she couldn't get angry, she never got angry. "It's fine, there just boots." Her favorite boots, but she left that part out. She grabbed some napkins from her table and took off her shoes. "It's fine," she repeated as she rubbed at the liquid on her shoes. It was no use, they were still wet and would still be sticky once they dried.

She wished she had an extra pair of shoes or something to put on her feet. "I'm Ruby," she said with a sweet smile. "And you are?"
