Charlotte was walking to the Dragon with a smile on her face. This was amazing. She was going to Beauxbatons and she was going to get a wand and all sorts of stuff. Her mother and father though decided this part of the journey was something Charlie should do on her own, like they themselves had years before her. She hummed and skipped into the pub in a bright floral sun dress. Unfortunately, Charlie tripped over a small crevice in the floor and her glasses were flung right off her head and across the floor. "Oh, no!" She exclaimed and instantly dropped to her knees, feeling across the floor. "I can't see without my lenses!"

Christine was quite pleased with getting her own way. Sure she only had an hour before she had to meet up with Stephanie again but that was something she wanted to do anyway. Besides it was the only way to get her hands on the type of money she needed to buy anything around here. She may be new to this place but her sister had been a wealth of information ever since the letter arrived. Thus Christine felt like she knew everything she needed to know before she'd even set foot in La Petit Dragon.

With the drink in hand bought for her by Stephie, Christine very carefully stepped through the pub looking for somewhere to sit, preferably with someone who might be her own age. It would be a good thing for her to start to learn who here future classmates would be now rather than later. She hadn't reckoned on a girl literally stumbling across her path. Christine put the drink down on a nearby table and squatted down trying not to think about the state of the floor. Her hands then reached out for the pair of glasses she could see sitting under the table. With them now in hand she walked over to where the other girl was searching. "Here. Put these on and you will see again."

"Oh! Thank you so very very much." She smiled and fixed her glasses back to the bridge of her nose. "I'm Charlotte, Charlie if it suits your fancy." She stuck out her hand. "It's nice to meet you." She blinked a few times so the world completely refocused. "I'm going to be a Beauxbatons first year and judging by your features I'm assuming you're either a first or a second year. I'm going to hope for first year because this could be an opportunity to make a friend, and I'm rambling out loud and I probably sound like I'm insane, so let me rephrase. Hi, I'm Charlotte, Charlie if you prefer. I'm a Beauxbatons first year, and you are?"

Christine placed her hand gently in the outstretched hand of Charlie. "I am Christine. It is always Christine." She nodded. "Yes. That is right. I will be a first year too and we certainly can be friends. It is much nicer to have friends than enemies anyway. You always have to watch your back if you have an enemy." And she did sincerely hope she did not meet any enemies during her time in Amethyst Alley. That was not the way Christine wished to start her time in this new world she had not previously been aware of. Though how she could have missed the signs when her older sister had been attending the school for three years she could not say. The girl didn't sound very confident and thus Christine decided she may be in need of good advice. "Charlie you do know that if you practice extremely hard you could become less of a rambler and more of a clear speaker."
