Leprechaun Gold Empty Leprechaun Gold

After a day's work of shopping, Marceline was positive she never wanted to see another store ever again in her life. It was far too much work and didn't see the pleasure that Agatha did, when she went out shopping. Shopping deserved a big fat pink tongue stuck out at it.

Seeing as she had returned to the pub earlier than the designated time for her to be picked up, she decided to grab a seat and put her feet up awhile. She placed her bags down next to her chair and then ordered herself a butterbeer, wanting to know what all the hype was from before, when she didn't have the wizard money to purchase any with. Now she had more than enough and even found a few coins on the ground when she was walking. Overall, it hadn't been to bad of a day, though she really was tired.

Pulling off her black Mary-Janes, Marcy put her holey-socked feet up on the table and slouched at her leisure as she sipped on the beverage. She pulled one of the coins she had picked up on the street from her pocket and juggled it between her fingers like her friend Frankie showed her how to. It made her feel cool, which helped with the fact that she was entirely alone. When she acted like this, it made her seem like loneliness was her option and she was too hardcore for everyone else. That was, she felt that security until she dropped the coin and suddenly it bounced around the room before vanishing beneath someone's foot.

She ran after the coin, dropping onto her hands and knees. She crawled to the figure who she was sure was standing on her coin and pulled at his leg. "Hey! Lift up, will ya!? You're standing on my-!" When she finally moved the foot, she found no coin beneath, which had her quite miffed. She rose to her feet and placed her arms on her hips. "You took it, didn't you?" She accused. She already met one thieving boy, who knew how many other wizards were no good thieves?

Walking around the small pub, Theodore found himself bored out of his mind. What fun was it just sitting around and not talking to someone? This was his chance to make real friends and it seemed that there was no one in the pub worth talking to. Theodore pulled his lower lips between his teeth and sighed dramatically. What was he to do? The boy found a chair, empty of course, and tugged it out to climb onto.

His knees helped boost his height on the chair so he could get a better view of the pub. Somewhere there had to be someone, anyone, that he could find entertainment from.

There.

She was lounging at a table with her feet propped up on the table, no shoes on them. Strange, but she would do just fine. Teddy hopped down and walked her way. She looked like she wanted to be alone, or she was bored sitting by herself. Theodore didn’t want to be wrong about this, if she wanted to be alone it would be harder to keep her attention on him. What good was she if she didn’t pay attention?

Just as he was arriving the coin she was tossing about bounced to the ground and rolled straight to him. The boy smirked and was quick to drop his foot on it. He adjusted as quickly as possible so the coin was under the other foot. Moments later she was tugging on the wrong foot in search of her coin. “Can I help you?” He asked a smirk plastered on his lips.

“Took what?!” He asked, acting as innocently as possible but the grin on his face didn’t fade. “I haven’t taken anything, but I can certainly make what you’re looking for appear. But in return you have to do something for me.” He was planning on giving it back no matter what her answer to his deal was, he didn’t want to take her coin. He just wanted some kind of entertainment.

"How do you know what to make reappear if you didn't take it in the first place?" Marcy continued to accuse. She was about to knock the boy over and search his pockets, if that was what it was going to take to get her money back. Money wasn't exactly scarce for her, but she couldn't just go throwing it around either.

Finally giving up, She stood back up again and folded her arms across her black dress. "Fine then. What will it take you to give me back my coin?" She said. "I'll do anything you want as long as it seems reasonable." She wasn't about to make a circus monkey out of herself just for the coin back. He could keep it for all she cared, if that's what it was going to take.

"Taking something implies that I intended to keep it," Which he didn't. Teddy rose a brow when she showed a vague interest in getting her coin back. He hadn't really thought that she would go along with it but he was more than please that she was giving in. He was quick to think of something though because he didn't want to disappoint. Especially if she was his only source of entertainment. "You have to solve my riddle, don't worry it'll be easy." He smiled and shoved his hands in his pockets.

"Are you ready?" He asked, assured that she probably was, he continued without an answer, "I am visible but I have no weight. If you put me in a bucket, I make it lighter- what am I?" The boy had a broad grin on his face as he was loving every moment of the interaction as he was greatly relieved of boredom.

"Then why won't you give it back?" She hissed, getting up in the boy's face. She wasn't afraid of him and knew just as well that she could take him. However, he seemingly would rather play games than to either hand the coin back over, which Marceline unamusedly went along with.

Her arms still crossed on her torso, her lips pursed as he explained the game. Great, a riddle. She was no good at riddles and personally found them to be on the more pointless side. After all, they were questions that often involved a play on words which were completely illogical to her.

She audibly huffed as he gave her the riddle and shifted weight onto her other foot as she thought. Her immediate answer was that she didn't know and further thinking, she still didn't know. "I don't know. Water?" She replied.
