Rainy Day Games Empty Rainy Day Games

Usually rain wasn't something that got Persephone down. When it rained, that meant she would put on her wellingtons and play outside anyway. However, after reaching the doors to the outside of the palace, ready to play in the mud puddles, only to find lighting violently striking around her, Persephone decided that it was one dangerous adventure she wouldn't do. That didn't mean Persephone was out of adventure to have.

She tried reading, at first. Plucking a book from the shelves of the library and trying to enlighten her mind only to find that the history of flobberworm mucus was no more interesting than actual flobberworms. She closed the book with a sigh and then looked at her surroundings. The library was so interestingly shaped with it's many bookshelves, forming an almost maze, a fascinating terrain. Though she wouldn't be able to yell, this seemed to be the perfect place for one of her imagination games.

Standing up, she crept as quietly as she could to the nearest student, poking him on his shoulder to get his attention and then whispered to him, "The library is under attack! Come, before it is too late! But don't talk too loudly or they'll hear you!" She warned, pressing a finger to her lips and taking the boy's hand in her own to lead him away.

Charon looked a bit puzzled as he was pulled towards a girl whom was quite a bit stronger than he realized as his hand didn't have much room to budge. He looked at her for a moment and then realization hit him, it was Cass's friend Percy. He was particularly bored anyways, he'd just gotten back from being with Lucy. So he nodded. "Which way are they coming?" He whispered looked around as if trying to find the invisible enemy. Charon smiled and quietly walked around the library. He was enjoying this more than he thought he would, but then again he was bored out of his mind and neither Lucy or Paige was around, which was sad, but oh well, something to do is something to do.

"Shhh!" Percy hushed the boy. "Do you want to away our position, sir?" She said, hypocritically loud. She hunched over in an attempt to be able to hide behind tables and not be too tall, since she already was awfully tall for a girl her age, as she lead the boy on. "They're all around us! Hiding in places you'd never expect! We used to be winning this battle until we got confident and left them be! Then they got stronger, wiser! It's up to us now!" Persephone spewed, coming up with things as she went. That's how one played an imaginary game though.

She took a cushion from a nearby chair and a quill and handed them to the boy. "Arm yourself, soldier! They are attacking!" She ducked and did a somersault, being slightly overdramatic, but nonetheless, having a blast. She took a cushion for herself and held it defensively, making 'clangs' and other noises as she blocked imaginary attacks with it.

Charon dived silently to the book cases and made swipes in the air with his quill as if he was fighting off the imaginary attackers. This was actually fun, though it's not like you could do much better on a rainy day, but even on a very sunny day he had a feeling this would be a good time. He blocked an imaginary strike with his cushion and pretended to go on the attack, okay he had to admit, this was really, really, really fun and a perfect thing to do on a rainy day. He "fought" his way over to Percy.

"They're upon us!" Percy announced and then started to swing around her own quill, making noises of weapons clanging together. "You'll never take me alive!" That exclamation earned her a criticizing hush from someone in the library, which Percy replied with an apologetic look and then went back to fighting her imaginary enemy.

"Oh good, soldier! You made it!" Percy said, as the curly haired boy pretend fought his way over towards her side. "But oh no! They're surrounded us in a circle! There is no way out now! Don't worry! I've got your back!" She stood with her back to him and held up her quill defensively.
