Fright Night Empty Fright Night

This wasn't Cassie's scene, and in all honesty, she was terrified. She wasn't sure why she was doing this, but there she was. Terrified, alone, cold. Oh why did she have to go at night? This had to be the dumbest thing she had ever done! She regretted not asking Percy to come with her. What was the reason she had come again? Whatever bravery she had been feeling wasn't there anymore. She pulled her jacket tighter around her. Why was it so cold?

She was very paranoid and kept looking around at the slightest sound. I'm going to die, she kept thinking. If she made it out of there alive, she was never leaving her dorm. Ever. She thought about going back many times, but she forced herself to go on. "You can do this," she said out loud. She gripped her wand tightly in her left hand and held onto her shoulder bag with her right hand. She tried to make as less sound as possible, in case of a ghost. There were many rumors of ghosts here, Cassie believed them all.

Fright Night Empty Re: Fright Night

There was a ghost, Osmund heard, that was young and forever frozen in his juvenile phase that roamed the graves in which he was buried among. However, Osmund had visited this cemetery often, at both day and near night, but he had never seen such a boy. He wondered if the stories were true or just fables told to the children of the town of Cheval to keep their noses from prying into the business of the peacefully resting dead.

A few times Osmund could've sworn he saw something moving from the corner of his eye, but every time it turned out to be a leaf blowing in the wind, a stray cat walking. It was late and by the light of his wand he walked in the swallowing darkness of the incoming night. He wouldn't admit that he was feeling a bit nervous, but the emotion was there, resting in the pit of his stomach and churning uncomfortably. He wasn't afraid of ghosts. Ghosts infested in the school, but it was the fear of another person sharing the same spot as him with poor intentions that kept him on edge.

The dark haired boy remained silent as he walked carefully, able to hear his breath sounding rough in the brisk autumn air. His eyes wandered around for the figure of the dead boy and his eyes widened as he thought he had succeeded in his scavenger hunt, spotting a small figure among the tombstones. He approached stealthily, only to find he was wrong. It was just some kid. A grin tugged at his face as he let the light of his wand go out and hide in the darkness for a moment before pouncing upon her. He jumped out from his hiding spot and only had to touch the girl's shoulder to let her know that she was not alone and then ran to hide behind a tombstone to watch the show he was sure he created.

Fright Night Empty Re: Fright Night

Post by Guest Thu Jul 18, 2013 4:49 pm

That night had to be the scariest night of her life and it seemed to get worse. When she felt something touch her shoulder, Cassie let out a scream and turned around. But nothing was there. "H-hello?" She held her wand tighter, but her mind had gone blank and she forgot all the spells she knew. She had to keep her calm, it was probably just a leave or something. She had to tell herself that or she would probably run away crying.

But she stood her ground, she had to be brave. "Okay, Cassie, don't go crazy." She turned back around and began walking again, but just a little faster. She began to him a cheery tune to make her feel better. Soon she forgot about the incident and was walking with a pep in her step. She began to sing to herself, her voice was getting louder and louder. She was in a happier mood now, she smiled happily. It wasn't so scary after all.

He definitely got her attention, but said nothing when she called out to the darkness. He stifled laughter at the fear in her voice, knowing well that he wasn't going to hurt her, just stir her up at bit, and it was already working.

Osmund waited in the darkness for her to forget about the touch and let her pass it off as her own imagination before bothering her again. When she started singing, he knew it was time to strike again.

He dashed out from his spot and this time yanked a lock of her hair before hiding again. This time, he couldn't hide his laughter and let a few muffled chuckles escape before deciding to really freak her out and started to sing the song she was singing, picking up where she left off.

Cassandra's mood took a turn for the worse when she felt something tug at her hair. She let out a yelp and fell backwards, onto her butt. Her wand fell out of her hand and rolled out of her reach. She was terrified and didn't want to move to get her wand. "L-leave me alone!" she called out. She began to hug herself, trying to calm herself down. You're just imagining it, she thought. That had to be it.

But she was wrong. When she heard singing, she began to shake. The voice was singing the song she had just been singing. Was it a ghost she had heard about? Why did she come here again? This was no place for her and she knew it. She began to cry, she just wanted to leave. Her hand ran over her necklace, the way it always did when she was nervous or scared, as she looked around. "Show yourself!" She wiped her tears with her sleeve. "This isn't funny!"

Osmund grinned from the shadows that concealed his cheshire face. The little detail with him singing apparently really got her spooked, for now she was calling out for him to show his face. Like he would do that when his cover was so perfect! They were perfect strangers, so she wouldn't be able to tell who he was by his voice.

He could hear her voice shaking and figured she was probably crying. Little girls could be so annoying sometimes. He rolled his eyes and walked out from his hiding place and crept up behind her. "Boo!" he whispered, inches away behind her.

When she has had the voice come from right behind her, Cassie let out a scream. She quickly moved away and faced the stranger. She wasn't sure what to say, still terrified by what had just happened. How could he have been so mean? Maybe it was funny to him, but not to her. "I could have you get in trouble for that," she warned him, voice still shaking. Though she wouldn't tell on him, she thought it would make him feel bad.

"That wasn't funny," she went on. This event made her never want to go into the graveyard ever again. It also made her hate creepy guys like him. She was starting to hate guys in general, all of them were mean to her. "Why did you do that? It was incredibly rude and mean." It was probably a way of entertainment, to see her freak out. "Were you so bored that you had to give me a heart attack?" Her fear was replaced with fury, she was angry at the boy for scaring her.
