Dessert for Celebration Empty Dessert for Celebration

Post by Apollo Kronidis Tue Aug 25, 2015 3:16 pm

Apollo was extremely happy. He got accepted by the school of his dreams. He wanted to celebrate, no he had to celebrate. He went to his favorite restaurant, "Le Petit Dragon". He quickly got in with a smile, not realizing that he was more like running that walking into the restaurant.

He sat down and immediately ordered a dessert. A Chocolate Mousse...Mmmmm...a chocolate mousse...his tasty heaven. After some time he was really more hungry than happy, as he continuously thought of his favorite dessert. After his dessert finally came, he ate it almost like he was starving...He didn't really know why. Was he starving because of his success, or success makes him hungry? Well, that didn't really matter anymore. He ate it and left the money on the table.

As he exited happily the restaurant (and when I say happily, I mean watching a 16-year-old boy acting like 5-year old boy), when he accidentally bumped on a beautiful girl...

Dessert for Celebration Empty Re: Dessert for Celebration

Post by Isobel Green Tue Aug 25, 2015 3:48 pm

Isobel could barely believe that she was a fifth year. Age fifteen was going to be amazing as far as she could tell. She could practically see all of her quidditch wins and see the look on her boyfriend's face as she tried not to bore him with the details of said quidditch games.

And then, there was also her best friend, with whom she'd lost touch with, but was headed out to meet. She was excited to rekindle that relationship. She couldn't help but have her head in the clouds as she walked toward the restaurant.

But Isobel was not understanding of those who had the same issue. She was suddenly bumped into by a boy and she blurted the first thing that came to her mind.

"Hey! Can you not be an asshole? Don't you know you just bumped into the captain of the Montagnard Quidditch team? AND ALSO their newest Prefect? What do you have to say for yourself?" she asked crossing her arms and looking into the face of a handsome older boy.

Dessert for Celebration Empty Re: Dessert for Celebration

Post by Apollo Kronidis Tue Aug 25, 2015 3:57 pm

Apollo said in an almost shocked voice: "I-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!" He came to see the face of the girl he bumped into. She was gorgeous. He slightly blushed as he rubbed shamefully the back of his head.

"Did I hurt you? I can't believe how I could be so stupid...I hurt such a pretty girl..." He said with a slight grin on his face. He then gave his hand and said with a friendly tone "I'm Apollo..."

That moment one million thoughts came through his mind. "What am I saying?" "Pretty girl, oh no she'll think I'm hitting on her." "Nothing of these would happen if I didn't run like a stupid 5-year-old." "I wonder what would happen if you pulled the tail of a cat"

Yes, I know, the last one was irrelevant, but Apollo can think of all sorts of things when he gets embarrassed.

Dessert for Celebration Empty Re: Dessert for Celebration

Post by Guest Tue Aug 25, 2015 4:18 pm

Sophie strained her head above the sea of people, hoping to spot the familiar face of Isobel. Damn shortness. She pranced through some annoying first years who were eyeing her dress with envy-as they should be. At first it looked like they mistook her for one of them, but she held her head high and bumped past them without a glance back. Sophie smirked a bit, tossing her gorgeous hair their way. She'd been on a positively lovely winning spree lately in wizard chess tournaments and her attitude showed. She'd splurged the money on pretty dresses and used her status to blackmail hot douchebags into holding hands with her. Her eye landed on another one-an older guy talking with Isobel. Sophie made her way over.

She could see Isobel wasn't happy with him and he seemed to be trying to flirt his way out of it. Sophie gave a loud dramatic pitying sigh, making them aware of her presence. "Iz has a boyfriend. Your flirting won't work, idiot, but of course you'd try." Her voice was laced with sweet condescension. She turned to Isobel with a bright friendly smile while keeping a wary eye on the guy. "Hey, Iz, what'd he do to you?"

Isobel didn't know whether to be flattered or offended by the boy's comment. Boys would always try that with her. And it rarely worked anymore.

Isobel went to open her mouth, but was interrupted by the familiar sound of her partner in crime, Sophie. "He bumped into me because he's too much of a moron to pay attention to where he's walking. I'm asking him if he's aware of who I am and I'm debating on whether to give him a warning or to actually write him up for it," Isobel answered, smiling. She couldn't write him up outside of school even if she wanted to. But this boy probably didn't know that. So why not have a little fun?

Dessert for Celebration Empty Re: Dessert for Celebration

Post by Apollo Kronidis Tue Aug 25, 2015 5:07 pm

Apollo showed a really confused expression. He didn't know what to say to the girls...They seemed to actually kinda ignore him and make their own conclusions. He wanted to defend himself. "Please stop. I wasn't trying to flirt with her...I was just trying to be nice, because I accidentally bumped on her...I'm sorry for the whole scene..."

His expression suddenly from confused turned sad as he looked the girls staring at him highly annoyed.

Dessert for Celebration Empty Re: Dessert for Celebration

Post by Guest Tue Aug 25, 2015 5:27 pm

Sophie actually felt kind of bad for the guy. Maybe he wasn't such a douche. He sounded genuine. Douches would only persist more and try to act cool. They certainly wouldn't apologize. So she decided to give him a chance, whether or not Iz followed. Maybe she was too softhearted, she didn't care.

She let out her trademark loud girly giggle. "Aww, that's sooo cute! Just pick a different girl to bump into next time, kay kay? Good." She linked her arm through his without warning. "My name's Sophie. I'm a wizard chess prodigy, maybe you've seen my name in articles." Although she didn't say it, her tone implied you better have. "You said you're Apollo, right? Like the Greek sun god. Hot." She giggled again and skipped around, her arm still linked to his. "Tell me more about you!"

Dessert for Celebration Empty Re: Dessert for Celebration

Post by Isobel Green Tue Aug 25, 2015 5:49 pm

Isobel knew the flirting was about to start. Sophie's best game was wizard chess, but the next best was boys' hearts. The boy seemed a little old for her, but that was okay, she supposed. Hopefully, Iz wasn't going to get blown off a ton this year. But she knew what it was like to have a boyfriend. Especially if that boyfriend was Cameron. And if you were going to be Isobel Foster-Miller, there were some requirements.

Wait. She was thinking too far ahead. Maybe the boy wouldn't even be interested in her fourteen-year-old best friend. Isobel felt a little selfish for the thought, but not enough to feel bad.

But the pick up line was brilliant. It was already a done deal. "Yeah. So I'll see you guys later. Sophie, meet me in the Common Room after Sorting. See you guys later!" Isobel replied, before turning to walk in the opposite direction.

Apollo blushed and looked at Sophie really confused. He didn't know what to say. Just some minutes ago she was complaining about him flirting with her friend and now she's flirting with him? However, no matter how confusing was the whole scene, he couldn't help but like it. So, he immediately stopped blushing and grinned.

"Yes, my name is Apollo because I have Greek descent, awesome huh? Well, I do feel sorry for bumping into your friend...It won't happen again..."

Apollo then smiled broadly in a really warm way, because he pretty much loved talking about himself...and who doesn't?

"Well, I'm 16 years old, I like swimming, soccer and..."

Apollo suddenly stopped talking as he remembered one of the phrases Sophie said.

"You're a wizard? Oh my gosh I'm one too!" He exclaimed, rather loudly, with a cheerful smile.

Dessert for Celebration Empty Re: Dessert for Celebration

Post by Guest Tue Aug 25, 2015 11:47 pm

Sophie smiled brightly. She was a little nervous-ok, a lot-being on her own with an older guy without Isobel, but she wasn't going to show it. Just keep grinning til it kills you she reminded herself. That was her motto. "'Kay, see you later Iz, have fun!" she giggled brightly, waving to her best friend. She turned back to Apollo, cute Apollo.

"Oh, forget about that," Sophie laughed loudly, waving the matter off with her hand as if it were nothing. Now that she had Isobel's approval, she felt more sure she could be nice to him. "Iz is a tough girl, she can take it. I'm soooooo sorry about ganging up on you before. I'm just so used to pervy jackasses hitting on her, ya know?" Sophie giggled, touching his arm lightly. "But you're different. Friends, right?"

She remembered some of Iz's advice. Flatter them, but not too much in the beginning. Leave them wanting more. She could almost imagine this like a chess game.

"You're Greek? That's soooo coool. I heard the parties are the bomb," Sophie mentioned casually, tossing her hair a little. A sporty guy. That was even better. "I love swimming. I do it all the time in Dubai." Total lie unless you counted floating in the waves to show off her bikini as swimming. But Apollo didn't know that and he didn't need to. "Are you interested in playing Quidditch? I'm the announcer, I can put in a good word 'bout you," she winked.

Sophie giggled aloud at his remark. "We all are here, silly! Isn't it amazing?" She giggled even more and swung their arms in the air, attracting stares. Probably envious ones. "Well, some people are Squibs-like, you know, people born to wizards but are magically challenged. Like that girl over there?" Sophie pointed across the pub to one of her least favorite people. The bitch was about the same popularity status as Sophie and always managed to tick her off. Well, two could play the game, and Sophie could play it better. "That girl's a Squib. Her wand's totally fake, it does all the "magic" for her and it's really lame. Everyone knows but her parents paid the school extra to let her stay." Sophie let out a pitying sigh. "She's super desperate to hook up with guys, especially older guys like you. If she talks to you, try to get out of it as fast as you can. Of course, you wouldn't want to be mean, but trust me, it's better than breaking her heart later on."

Apollo smiled. That girl was surely pretty, but her previous behavior made him question if she was really an angel or not. Then it happened. She apologized to him. Apollo was always a gullible guy...he knew it himself. But he couldn't turn down an apology. Maybe she isn't a bitch. Maybe she was just trying to protect her friends. And Apollo surely liked friendly people, being one himself.

And later...She touched his arm. Apollo was surely a friendly person, so he touched and hugged people all the time. But never before such a pretty girl touched him like that. He blushed...Then a sentence came out from her mouth...friends...yeah...that could work. No matter how much Apollo liked her, he could never turn down an offer for friendship. Even if it meant that he would get friendzoned.

"Yup, we're friends!" He said as he smiled cheerfully.

"I am indeed Greek. And yeah we have the best parties ever! Ώπα!" He exclaimed and laughed. Apollo always liked to talk about his nation. He actually loved all nations, but his own was special...

Apollo didn't mind having a friend with a different personality. As long as it was a good person...But then Sophie said something like...she loved swimming? SHE LOVED SWIMMING. The best sport of all time! And then she mentioned Dubai. Apollo loved traveling and now he learned that this girl had traveled or maybe even was from Dubai. So many questions...so many things to say...He didn't know that to do...

"Oh my, you love swimming? That's so cool! And Dubai? Are you from there? Oh my god, that's so awesome! I always loved foreign countries and cultures...would you like to swim with me someday?" He said, rather quickly, with a cheerful smile.

Sophie then said something and winked but he was so busy thinking about all the possibilities of them hanging out at the beach or even in Dubai, that he didn't really pay attention.

After that, Sophie pointed at a girl and said some...pretty bad things about her...that's all he knew. And Apollo utterly hated that. He wants to make his own conclusions about people. He never liked rumors. When somebody says bad things about people, he barely cares...so he just nodded to what Sophie said, and didn't really pay attention.

Dessert for Celebration Empty Re: Dessert for Celebration

Post by Guest Wed Aug 26, 2015 2:20 pm

Sophie smiled brightly. "Great! I love friends! Never had one from Greece before." She actually didn't have to fake those words at all. She loved making friends. It was a little less thrilling than making enemies, but it was better in the long run. And it felt nice.

"You should invite me to one of those parties sometime," Sophie giggled. "So, did you actually live in Greece? What's it like?"

Swimming with a hot guy? The word poured out of her moment before she fully thought them through. "I'd totally love to swim with you!" Wait. Double crap. She couldn't really swim. She could learn, right? "I'm not very good," she confessed.

"I've lived in Dubai for a while now! It's such a glamorous city with all the best malls. But also some rude entitled people," Sophie frowned, remembering some rich Muggle girls. "Before, I lived in Geneva, and before that I was born in New York City! I love big cities!"

She realized he was starting to get distracted. Uh oh. Sophie quickly nudged him and asked, "So have you gone shopping for school supplies yet, or wanna go together?"

He smiled. She was such a nice girl. She would definitely become one of his good friends.

"I never really lived in Greece. My parents moved from Greece to France when they got married. I only go to Greece during summer holidays." He said rather disappointed. He loved Greece. He would really like to live there, but he couldn't leave all his friends and family back in France.

And then she said it...she would like to swim with him. Apollo blushed immediately. Apollo swimming along with such a hot girl...Oh gosh, he thought. He pictured the scene of him and Sophie swimming together and...NO it wasn't time for him to get all pervy. He wanted her as a friend. He needed more friends from the Academy, so he mustn't screw things up.

"It would be great to swim with you, Sophie! Let's hang out together someday!" He said as he grinned and tried to hold his blushing...

"Wow so awesome! I'd love to live in so many places like you did! All these cultures...all these nations!" Apollo loved traveling and learning about different cultures...the mere idea of him traveling around the world was just ideal...

Then she said about shopping supplies....

"Κάτσε...you buy them? I thought that the Ministry of Magic gives them to you!" He said rather worried, because he understood that he gave Aidan some pretty wrong advice...

Sophie sensed disappointment in his tone. She didn't blame him if Greece had as many parties as people said. "Awww that's a bummer. But France is amaaaaazinggg too! So what's Greece like in the summer? Do you tan a lot?" She knew guys didn't really tan, but she figured it happened naturally.

"Yesss, we should hang out all the time," beamed Sophie. Swimming with him could go wonderfully or horribly. She chose to believe it would go wonderfully.

Sophie nodded along eagerly although not completely understanding. "It's nice to see all the different styles of clothes!" she agreed. "I don't like traveling all the time though, but I have to for wizard chess tournaments."

She let out a little giggle again. "No silly! You have to buy them! Are you new? Where are you from?" she asked curiously. That made sense, surely she would have picked out such a handsome face a long time ago.

"Greece is great! Full of friendly people, sun and fun!" He shouted happily as he raised his hands in the air.

Apollo didn't expect what Sophie just said...Chess tournament? Amazing, he thought. She didn't really seem like a person who liked chess. Although Apollo hated stereotypes, in terms of chess players he imagined the typical chess-nerd type of person.

"Whoa, wait...You like chess? Cool!"

Apollo giggled in embarrassment. "Ehmmm sorry, I didn't know about that piece of info...Thanks a lot!" He said with his usual smile on his face.

Even though he was smiling from the outside, he felt really worried for Aidan. Apollo was supposed to help him, but he didn't...
