What the Heck is a Flobberworm?
Gi Eun strayed from Melody yet again. Her older sister clearly wasn't enjoying being in charge of another one of them, so she let her go off with that one boy that Melody clearly liked a lot. Sighing, Gi made her way into the potions shop. She smiled politely to the shopkeeper and greeted her just as nicely. But... Gi Eun didn't want to bother her with her probably stupid questions; so she wandered about the shop clueless.
The potions ingredients has such strange names and some of them made her laughed under her breath. Like the flobberworm. What a ridiculous name. Yet, she had no clue what it was. Another heavy sigh, Gi looked around the shop chewing on her lip. She spotted a girl about her age and shyly walked over to her. Gi Eun gently tapped her on the shoulder. "Hi, sorry, do you mind if I ask you a question?" Gi's French wasn't particularly the greatest, but it got the job done. Of course, she had Korean, English, and German also swimming about her head. That only got slightly confusing... all the time.

She had to get a few things for her potions class but she was also there to see if they held some sort of language potion. She was tired of not understanding a single thing anyone said. She wanted to be in the loop instead of wondering if someone was talking about her in a language she didn't understand. Good thing she could sort of read French from studying so much before visiting France, maybe she'd be able to figure out on her own if they had something like that in supply.
Aleta was busy looking at the different potions when someone tapped on her shoulder. She jumped a mile out of her skin before turning around. She let out a small sigh when she realized it wasn't some weirdo but a girl about her age. She squinted her eyes and moved her head a bit closer as the girl spoke, maybe she'd be able to read her lips and figure out what she was saying. But she couldn't and she didn't understand her. "No entiendo," she said softly.

Ah, darn. This was bad. She had no clue what the girl just said to her. “English?” She asked hopefully. She didn’t know what to do now. Gi Eun chewed on her lip and gestured to an ingredient. Looks like a horrible game of charades would have to do. She then pointed to the flobberworm on the list. “Do you know where to find this?” She tried speaking in French a bit slower too. Hopefully that would help a little bit. If not, she was going to find the shopkeeper. She waited for the girl to respond back to her and was worried she still didn’t understand her. The confused expression only deepened that worry.

She had no clue what the girl was saying and it was frustrating. She just wanted to give up on talking and just stay quiet for the rest of her time at Beauxbatons. But there would be partner work and she was sure that she would be called on to answer a question. Wait, they would be speaking French. She wouldn't understand anything. "Estoy jodido," she mumbled bitterly. It was hard not to be bitter when she understood nothing. Maybe going to France was a bad idea.
She squinted her eyes as she tried to read the list. She was getting no where until she understood French. "Language," she said slowly in French. Out of all the words she learned, which were only a handful so far, she knew the words that she liked and she knew how to tell people her name. "Potion?" She had to learn some things that had to do with magic and potion had to be the only one that stuck with her. She raised an eyebrow as she waited for the girl to answer her.
