Mix-Up Empty Mix-Up

Post by Guest Sat Jan 03, 2015 8:36 pm

Anha had been in the library for only a little while. She was studying for her Defense Against The Dark Arts test that was coming up in just a few days. Even though the school year had just started she felt like she was being overwhelmed already. She sighed and flipped the page and picked up her wand. She wasn't going to actually practice the spell in the room, but she wanted to perfect her stance and how to hold her wand for the knockback jinx know as 'Flipendo'.

The ginger haired girl held her wand up and mouthed the spell as she practiced flicking her wand correctly. She smiled as she felt that she'd finally perfected the stance and moved onto the next spell which happened to be a curse, 'Mucus ad Nauseam'. The girl sighed and searched farther into her book to research the curse further.

Bo needed to talk to talk to Melody, but of course, as soon as he needed her, she was no where to be seen. He had asked around if anyone had seen a long haired ginger girl around, to which he received the answer that she was in the library. He supposed that made sense. She was probably getting all wound up about N.E.W.T.s and wanted to get a head start on studying. He scoffed as he figured if that was the case, she'd probably be on him about studying for his O.W.L.s.

He made his way up to the tenth floor and kept his eyes open for his sister. He felt like a creep peering behind books to see whether or not it was Mel. However, the librarian was strict about keeping things quiet, so he didn't dare call her name.

From the corner of his eye, he spotted red hair and made his way over. She looked smaller than usual, but he was used to being way taller than her and besides, she was sitting in a chair. "Hey Mel," he tapped her gently on the shoulder and spoke in a hushed voice. "Can I ask you something? I need your advice. It's important." Even if she was busy studying, she would not say no to that if she thought she could get him to open up a bit.

Angharad flipped the pages of her book and stayed silent. The librarian was known to be strict and the last thing she wanted was to get into trouble over something so stupid as talking in a library, so she stay silent and looked over her the spells. She was barely concentrating when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She heard the voice of a boy and stiffed a bit as he asked for her advice. Anha wasn't even sure she'd heard the boy's voice before.

Turning quickly to see who it was, she raised an eyebrow? She hadn't heard him say 'Hey Mel,' . "Can I help you?" She asked and crossed her arms, confused as to why this boy would need her advice. He was obviously much older than her and would care about a first years opinion, even if he got it. The boy looked a little more than confused. "Did you need something?" She asked, clearly thinking this boy was insane or something.

Beauregard had started talking before he had gotten a good look at the girl's face, but once she turned around and answered him in a tone too cold to be Mel's, Bo was second guessing himself. "Oh umm, sorry about that," He uttered, still rather confused. Of course now that he really saw her, she was too young to be Mel. "I thought you were my sister. Sorry about that. Carry on." Of all the embarrassing things he had done in his life, mistaking a second year for his older sister had to be the most embarrassing. Even more embarrassing than kissing Riley.

Angharad looked at the strange boy who had seemingly had mistook her for his sister. Angahrad didn't believe him for the reason that he was obviously not Swedish or any type of European. The boy looked like he was from the middle east and she wasn't sure how he would have obtained a sister that even somewhat resembled her. "Your sister?" She asked and laughed a little bit. "How could I look like your sister?" She asked in an lofty tone.

The initial answer wasn't mean to be rude, Angharad had just more less found the whole situation very funny. She was pretty sure that this boy was pulling a prank on her, and being the good sport that she was, she decided to laugh along with him. However, if he was somehow telling the truth, she was curious about this so called sister that he had that resembled her in appearance.

He should've known his words would've received the reaction he had gotten from the ginger girl. Of course no Palestinian couple would bear a child of red hair. It simply wasn't in their genetics. However, Bo wasn't entirely eager to spew out his family history to a complete stranger and wouldn't think twice about leaving it out if the girl had not questioned how it was possible for her to resemble his sister.

"I'm adopted," He said, simply and sounding rather bothered. "We both are, actually." Along with the rest of his siblings. "Why, did you think I was lying or something?" He added, not too impressed with the girl. She must've been eleven or twelve maybe. There was no reason why he'd lie in order to talk to her.
