Term 15 Round III: Cerisier vs Nuage

Winter was finally over. The snow was gone and plants were green again. All of the students had been itching to go outside, so the stands were packed. It was just the way Professor Bowen liked it.

It was still a little chilly, so she had made sure the players were still bundled up. She cleared her throat to get the two teams' attention. "Cerisier and Nuage both played fantastic games this year. Let's make this last one just as good, if not better. Make sure you thank your captains and seventh years," Bowen announced. She turned to the captains. "Shake hands. It's time."

Once everyone was in position, Professor Bowen blew her whistle.

Aleta couldn't believe that they had won last game. She was a new captain and she had quite a few new people on her team including herself. Now she was going against another house that had more experience than her team. She was extremely nervous and she wanted to perform her best today. She couldn't help but think that she had gotten lucky with the win last game. The weather was back to being perfect and the second year hoped for a good game. "Everyone do their best today," she said to her team before that entered the field.

She couldn't believe that she was going against Ryan. He was like a God or something and she had the biggest crush on him. The first year shook hands with the seventh year then the whistle was blown. "Good luck," she said the the other captain.

Christine felt a thrill go through her with being in the finals. At last Cerisier had made it and just in time for the end of her final year at Beauxbatons. She swung her bat experimentally before the match and nodded. Yes she was ready to hit as many bludgers as she could Nuage's way. Could this be the match in which she would finally experience that winning feeling the team had back before Christine started at Beauxbatons. It was only because of her older sister's time on the team that she knew of the past success and she'd so hoped it would continue.

The whistle blew and Christine was up in the air eager to get the first hit toward the opposing team. She smiled at the way the iron ball was sent toward a player in yellow and orange. Her smile broadened as she heard the ding indicating that Cerisier scored the first goal of the match. Two good signs? She could but hope.
