Let The Games Begin Empty Let The Games Begin

Aurora had admired the Quidditch players for about 2 years now and she was thinking about trying out for the team. It was a long shot, but you never knew unless you tried right? So here she was out on the pitch practicing her Quidditch skills. She was determined to be the best player on the team. She had successfully caught all of the practice balls and now was going to work on her speed, but it was kind of hard to do that without someone else there to race against. Low and behold as if the gods had answered her wishes a girl in practice robes wandered onto the pitch. "Um hey!" Aurora called to the girl and walked over. "Hello, I'm Aurora...Rory for short. Are you here to practice for Quidditch?" She asked the obvious question already knowing the answer, but it was the polite thing to do.

Lucie often woke up in the middle of the night and wondered if she was dreaming she'd been made captain of a Quidditch team in her very first year at Beauxbatons. The fact she made the team that year when she'd never heard of the game before didn't help in the difficulty of trying to figure out if it was a dream or reality. The wins added into the mix and she spent a lot of time thinking that maybe she lived in a dream world.

This year she had to make sure she could prove what happened the previous year was not a fluke. Her team won one match but she also had to win the next or she would never be taken seriously again. Thus even when her team didn't have practice scheduled she would still find time to go down to the pitch to practice on her own. She was captain but she also believed she was the weakest player.

She was in the middle of planning how she would go about her practice this time and didn't register anyone else was on the pitch until the Nuage girl spoke. Lucie blinked at her and wondered if she heard right. "But I already know your name," she said. "You're in my year and my classes. Ah never mind. Yes. Practice. Lucie." Just in case Aurora who'd apparently forgotten she would have known her name would have forgotten Lucie's too. Or never heard anyone call her that in class.
