Bonding Time Empty Bonding Time

Osmund's eyes narrowed at the gangly ginger man that was to escort him. Just the presence was enough to annoy him. for one thing, Osmund felt that he was old enough to manage himself and didn't need guidance like this. For another, this was just some stupid plot his mother put together to get him to like her new boyfriend, but seeing how the muggle was lost at nearly every turn and asking questions like crazy, Osmund could see that a bonding moment was highly unlikely. Promising relationship or not, the man didn't belong there.

"Ease up, Osmund. Lets get some lunch and then we can talk. It seems like you're hardly around," the man noted, offering Osmund a friendly smile, which Osmund shrugged off coldly. There was a reason for that. Osmund did he best to avoid home all summer long, spending long hours in the park or sitting in the solitude of his room. He didn't want to get to know Fergus, for the man wouldn't ever be able to replace his father. He wouldn't allow it.

Begrudgingly, Osmund volunteered to place the order, after seeing Fergus's face of confusion as to where to go and what to do. "Honestly that man! He hasn't a clue and yet he is supposed to be my 'guidance'! As if I need that!" Osmund vented aloud to himself, waiting for the order to come back. He wondered if he could give the man a slip. Surely he wouldn't know where to go or where to find him, judging by how lost the grown man was now. Sure he'd suffer reprocussions from his mother, but he would think of something.

Bonding Time Empty Re: Bonding Time

Annaliese walked in and say the scene that was unwinding with Osmund and ran right into him. "Oh.." Annaliese said, feeling a little out of place there. He seemed a little angry. "Pardon me..." she said, looking down. Being the new kid, she was a little shaken up, not only was this place gigantic, she didn't know a single soul. She felt as though progress she'd made with making friends had been very...comical in her peers eyes...almost like she was trying to hard, and failing miserably.

Bonding Time Empty Re: Bonding Time

Osmund had been leaning on the table before him, dissolved in his own world and speaking aloud. He almost turned with rage onto the small voice that disturbed his thoughts as he faced her. A scowl filled his face as he looked down on the unfamiliar blonde, the boy was tall with puberty starting to kick into his system. He wasnt sure if she was looking for something from him or just wanted him to move, so he replied with a cold, "what?"

Freshmeat, honestly! Couldn't she see he was busy brooding? His arms folding across his chest, he went back to plotting. Maybe he could eat with Fergus and then claim to need to use the restroom, then climb out the window. He smiled as he thought of how much that would confuse the undesired man.

Suddenly he was aware of the girl again. "Take a picture, it lasts longer," he replied. He didn't like being stared at like that. "Honestly what is your problem?" She must've been lost or something. Not that was Osmund's problem or anything.

Annliese confusion slightly turned into a glare. "You know you don't have to be so cross." She rolled her eyes at the unfriendly stranger. "I'm just lost." She responded with a hint of annoyance. 'How was she supposed to get on at this school where every corner she turned she was making an enemy. "I've had a long day." She said adding to what she had said before. "And your rude comments aren't appreciated." She said, trying to to keep some class, but still get her point across.

Osmund could see anger brewing in the girl's eyes, but he was hardly intimidated. After all, this newbie was practically defenseless whereas he, an incoming third year, had a number of spells under his belt to use. He only smirked at her anger and rolled his eyes as she claimed she was lost. She wasnt the first that he had heard that from on that day.

"So have I," Osmund replied, indignantly. He had his own problems and honestly toting around a lost muggle becuase Helena wanted him to get acquainted with whom might be his new stepfather was enough to drive the short tempered boy to irritation. "But that isn't important right now," he noted. He wasnt about to spill his history out to the stranger like that, nor was he interested in hearing about hers.

But where was that food? The service at the place, like always, seemed to be less than admirable and wasnt helping with Osmund's poor mood. His fingers drummed with irritation as he waited impatiently. His eyes wandered back towards where Fergus was waiting, seeing the man waving towards him and smiling, at which Osmund recoiled from and turned back to face forward, looking annoyed as ever. "Damn muggle. Damn family." He wished he didn't even need to go shopping for new supplies. That would've saved him an ample amount of trouble.

Annaliese saw the aggravation flood over his face at the man he was looking at waved to him. She let out a little "Hmph." Of satisfaction and smirked. "Well, thank you. You've been ever so helpful on showing me the kinda of people to avoid. She narrowed her eyes. "Have a nice day." she turned on her heel and walked away.

Osmund wasn't entirely sure what the little blonde girl meant when she spoke, but he didn't care. He was sure there was some sarcasm behind what she we saying, but none of it could hurt him. No, he had bigger fish to fry than to argue around with some ickle and as soon as she left, the older boy let out a sigh. "Thank Merlin." That was one grievance down, who knows how many more to go.

Looking back at the man again from the corner of his eye as his order was handed to him, he scowled again. He would have to do more than give the man a slip to ensure that the man would be out of his life for good. He picked up the cups of tea and soups and then walked back towards where Fergus was waiting, grunting in annoyed response when Fergus asked who the blonde girl was and slumped into his seat. "It doesn't matter."
