Bo got along with the girl named Melody whom he was to consider as his sister, though he wouldn't be caught dead with her in public. She was a nice kid, he had to admit, but sometimes she coddled him so it really got on his nerves. He hated shopping as it was, the last thing he needed was her following him around. After arguing for his right to go alone, she finally agreed, and the two St. Holmes children went their separate ways.

He ordered a butterbeer before patting down his pockets in his homemade overcoat to find the money to pay for it. Butterbeer was one of the perks of discovering he was a wizard. It was the best tasting drink he had had out of Palestine, Banelieue, Liverpool and most certainly Dresden. He found the small coin purse with ease and plucked the desired amount of coins before handing them to the barista. He knew he didn't have too much extra spending money, but the boy was apt enough at math that he knew he could spare enough for a treat.

After receiving his butterbeer, the boy perched himself in a seat away from the crowd. It seemed to him that he had come on a popular day for school supply shopping, which irritated him. Crowds ranked high as a reason why Bo despised shopping. He sipped at his drink and then regarded the coin purse again, counting out his money and then making calculations of what would be used to buy what. He paused, biting his lip as a certain item with a name that rested on the tip of his tongue, so tantalizingly close but unable to be voiced. He remembered a supply list included in his acceptation letter and Marigold handing it to him before he left with Melody earlier that day. His hands patted down his pockets once more, finding nothing that resembled paper in them but instead one pocket with a gaping hole in it. Bo closed his eyes, heaving a sigh. It was just his luck that he would lose the list even before he began his shopping trip.

He took a gander back at the crowd where many young faces filled it. Surely at least one of them had a supply list and were willing to let him look? His eyes selected a youth to ask and his feet brought him to them. Clearing his throat for their attention, Beauregard spoke up. "Would you so happen to have a first year school supply list?" He inquired, his voice calm. "And if so, would you allow me to look at it? I've seem to have lost mine," He explained.

If there was an award for being nervous, Riely would probably get first place. No matter the situation he was always at least a little bit nervous. He was told that Guenevere would help him shop but she had been too busy with her friend to help her little brother out. She had told him that she would meet up with him just before he was ready to do some actual shopping. He sure hoped that she'd be there for him.

But for right now, he was all alone with his comics in his messenger bag and his shaky hands. He didn't want to spend any extra money, so he just sat down at an empty table and carefully pulled his Thor comic out of his bag. He had only gotten to the second page when he distracted by a boy who looked to be about his age. "I think I have one," he whispered. He searched his bag for his list and pulled it out. "Here you go." He held out the list. "But I, going to need it back."

Lucky for him, he had spotted out a first year immediately. Or so he figured from the way the boy claimed he had the list and then held it out to him. "Thanks mate," He replied, accepting the sheet of paper and letting his brown eyes fall upon it. A scale! That's what he needed! "No problem. I just needed to check something and then I'll give it right back," Beauregard uttered absentmindedly, trying to save all names by memory. He took a long moment staring at them paper before finding himself satisfying and offering it back.

"Thanks again. I should be fine now and if not, I'm sure there are other people around with supplies lists. Seems like there's a lot of students here today," Bo noted dropping the list onto the table covering the boy's comic. He rose an eyebrow. Comics weren't much of his thing, preferring books himself. "Well, I'll see you around, I guess."

He was never much of a people person so when the boy looked over his list he did anything he could to avoid looking at him. His comic book didn't seem as interesting anymore when the boy was just standing there. He couldn't look at him nor could he continue reading his comic book. All he could do was just still there awkwardly and look at a stain on the table. Riley was bit of a clean freak so the stain really bothered him.

"No problem," he said softly. "You can always come back over here if you need to look again." What was he saying? He could hardly remain still while he was over here. "We're in the same year, so we'll see each other." He pushed up his glasses so they were properly on his face. He grabbed the paper and shoved it back into his bag. "I'm Riley," it was only right to give him his name in case they didmeet again.

"Right, thanks," Bo uttered in response, though he highly doubted that if he found himself in the situation of needing the list again, he would be able to find the same bespectacled boy or have the energy to return from whatever shop he was currently in back to this pub. He bit his lip. He needed a better back up plan than this boy.

"Bo," he nodded in return towards the kid's introduction. "I suppose you are right. We'll probably have classes together or something," He noted, nonchalantly. His eyes graced the supplies list once more. "Y'know what? Can I see that once more? I think I'm just going to copy it onto a separate sheet of paper," He concluded as a solution to his problem. The kid seemed like an alright guy but unless he didn't mind hanging around his side every moment of his shopping trip, he wasn't a very good back up plan.

First years were most likely to have all of the same classes then again, he didn't know much about Beauxbatons Acadamy. "Nice to meet you Bo," he replied with a small grin. Maybe he could make a friend out of his boy but then again he was a shy boy and wouldn't know where to beginning in making a friend.

"Yeah, sure," he grabbed his list and held it out to the boy. It was always nice to help out someone. His attention turned back to the comic book for a moment before he turned back to the boy. It was time to break his shy streak, he was going to ask the boy to sit down. "You can sit if you want, doesn't matter to me." He turned back to the comic, his heart was beating a litte too fast. He was nervous because this was a chance to make a friend and he wasn't sure what he was doing.
