Red Like Fire
Jude had to wait for his father to come back before he was able to go shopping. He didn't mind though. It gave him another chance to make some more friends. He could picture being friends with all types of different people and he wanted it to become a reality. It would be so great to have friends and have people like you. He was a friendly guy and was usually good at making friends. But things were different now that he was accepted into Beauxbatons. While talking to his father, Jude learned about a lot of things. Some witches and wizards only cared about blood status and he was told to not get mixed up in that and not to let anyone bring him down. He came from a muggle mother and a wizard father, he thought they were the perfect parents.
As he waited for his father, he sat at a table alone. He was people watching when a red head caught his eye. Oh how he loved that hair color, it reminded him of home. His mother was blonde and his father was brunett, so he didn't get any red hair. Janet, his step mother, had red hair. "I like your hair!" He called out hoping the girl would stop and join him.

Re: Red Like Fire
Ever since Darcy was a little girl she'd been a master at navigating her way through the crowded pub and she was even better at sneaking away from her mother in a crowded pub. She managed to slip away when her mother saw an old friend from school and started to chatter away. Darcy had her own money and was craving something sweet.
She headed to the bar and ordered a butterbeer. "Darcy I believe your mother specified you were supposed to be drinking tea..." The bartender said frowning slightly "on the other hand I could always leave this mug here and turn the other way provided the money is left behind." He said setting the mug in front of her. Darcy grinned and fished in her pocket for the money as the bartender turned away. Se grabbed the cup and left the money before walking to find a table. Her search was proving futile but then she heard someone hollar across the pub at her. She raised an eyebrow and turned to where the voice had come from. She saw a boy about her age sitting at a table. Darcy turned a light pink color and smiled. "Uhm, thanks. I'm Darcy." She stammered. Darcy hadn't really had much of a chance to talk with anyone her age nor had she ever talked to a boy that wasn't her annoying brother. "Can I join you? She asked pointing to an empty chair at his table with her free hand.

Re: Red Like Fire
Jude was happy that the girl had stopped to talk to him. He wanted to make tons of friends before starting Beauxbatons. That way he knew most of the people that would be in his classes. "Jude Ross at your service," he replied back with a grin. "But of course." He gestured towards an empty chair. "I'm guessing you're going to Beauxbatons too."
He had already met a girl that was also going to Beauxbatons. He was excited that he already met some people. "So, tell me something about yourself." It was hard to talk to someone when you didn't know anything about them. It was also weird to ask someone to tell you their life story. Once they were past all the awkward moments, he was sure that they'd be friends.

Darcy sat in the chair and grinned. "Nice to meet you Jude Ross." She said smiling broadly. "Yeah, I am." She informed him taking a sip of her Butterbeer. She looked over at her mother who was still chattering away with an older witch before looking back at Jude.
Darcy's face shifted to one of deep thought before she snapped her fingers in realization. "I've played the violin since I was eight." She told him proudly. "Tell me something about you." She said setting her mug back on the table. While friendship was a foreign concept, Darcy figured she was doing okay.

He grinned, this was the beginning of a friendship. He just knew it. It wasn't very hard for him to make friend yet every time he was about to make a friend, he thought he wouldn't make them. "Know anything about Beauxbatons?" Since his father had went to Beauxbatons, he knew a bit about the school. "There's a ghost that has been there since my father was a kid. I think he said her name was Raven."
Well, they were going to tell facts about themselves. He wasn't sure what he should say about himself. "I'm from Mullingar." Obviously he was Irish, but you couldn't tell where he was from unless he told you. "How about you tell one fact then I tell then you again and so on?"

Darcy was already staring to warm up to Jude despite little interaction and felt far less nervous than before. "I don't know much. Neither of my parents went there, I was supposed to go to another school but I moved. So I know a little bit about the school, just boring history junk." She says waving her hand. "A ghost, that sounds kinda cool actually!" Darcy said enthusiastically.
"Wow really, I'm Irish too! Well I mean I was born and raised in Kenmare. But my parents are both actually British." She said. Darcy nodded enthusiastically. "Sounds like fun. Okay well I just told you something so now you go again." She said sipping more of her drink.

Re: Red Like Fire
Meeting a ghost would have to be kn his bucket list while attending Beauxbatons. He really needed to make a list of things that he needed to do. "My dad gave me a boring history lesson too," he said. "I'm mostly excited to explore, I heard the castle is huge." Of course it would be huge, it had to fit all those students inside. "I guess we'd have to go looking for ghosts together then. We both want to see her and if we go at the same time no one spoils anything for the other."
"Well, I don't have this accent for nothing," he chuckled. "My father goes on a lot of business trips and I tag along sometimes during the summer. I've been to Britain before, very pretty." He had just given away so much about himself already but he was going to add one more fact in. "I'm an only child."
