Half Jack Empty Half Jack

It was clear that Jack did not want to go to school at all. Though it was true she was eager to further her studies and that Beauxbatons Academy had one of the best libraries in the world of wizard schools, Jack was never much for being around other people besides Jamie. She even struggled with interacting with Fane sometimes. Jamie was always her bridge between other people. So it was fortunate that the pair were to be attending school together, yet Jack feared with all her heart that she would be sorted into a different house than her brother.

"And I'll have to share a room," Jack muttered out loud in disgust. She was used to having her own room, close to Jamie's, but her own room, nonetheless. "With a stranger," She added in distress. It'd be one thing to move into the same room with Jamie, but moving in with some strange girl she hadn't met yet was inconceivable. "Is it too late to tell Mum I can't do it?" Jack questioned, looking towards her twin sitting across the small table from her. Fane was off doing Merlin knew what and told them to wait there for him to return. However, it helped Jack none as she desperately wanted out of it and to instead continue to be homeschooled.

Jamie hugged his sister tightly. He knew that she was nervous to attend Beauxbatons. Not so much for the education aspect, but more of the social part of it. She had never been good at talking to people, but then again neither had he. Despite the fact that they both had been kind of shut up both their lives, more by choice, but they enjoyed their own company. It was just how it all had been for as long as he could remember and it made sense that Jack was feeling all of these emotions. He was nervous for her, but wanted to be optimistic for her. "It'll alright, Jack." He said and placed a hand on her shoulder. "I promise sis. Everything will be fine." He gave her a small smile of reassurance and hope.

Jack accepted her brother's hug. Jamie was the only person alive that Jack would allow to embrace her and was the only one who could successfully appease her nerves. Though she wasn't positive Jamie was being realistic in saying that everything was going to be alright, she allowed herself to believe that at least Jamie would be there.

"We'll study together a lot, right?" She asked. "Just like the old times?" The sudden worry that they would be separated by houses filled her chest cavity once more. "Even if we aren't in the same house?" She added, in a squeaky timid voice. The thought was absolutely horrifying. The sorting was supposed to go by personalities, but Jack had to wonder how similar herself and her twin were. Jamie was always more keen towards trickery, but they were awfully compatible.

Jamie pulled away and looked at his sister. He truly loved her. She was the apple to his pie, the straw to his berry and he always knew that she would be there for him no matter how bad he was in trouble and he would do the same for her no matter what.

However the thought that they wouldn't be in the same house did kind of freak him out as well. He and his sister has been inseparable since birth, she was his best friend and he would be torn if he couldn't spend his only socialized experience with her. Looking at her and nodded. "I promise." He smiled a little and kissed her on the cheek. "I love you, Jack and I'll make sure that we'll never be separated and loose our brother sister relationship. EVER."

So many worries filled Jack's heart. This new experience was so uncertain and Jack was entirely out of her comfort zone. Often, she read a story of adventure hoping to have her own, but if an adventure meant separation from her dear brother, her other half, then she wanted nothing to do with it. This felt very much like a scary, intimidating adventure that might drive a wedge between their relationship. Jack scowled, a fierce facial expression that broke only when her brother gently kissed her cheek.

"Thank you, brother. I love you too," She replied, grabbing her brother's hand and holding it within her own. They were too close to possibly be torn apart, she was sure. This would never change.
